There may be billions of Lex 722 and no alternative rom. Lex 720/727 has roms because LeEco has released the source code AND the phones are the same. Without source code it's really hard to make a rom, you can also become ill because of attempts to make a rom. So if you want to have fun changing rom, do not buy a Lex 722, even if it costs less. Continuously asking rom for another device is a hateful thing, it gets dirty the thread of another rom without getting anything positive.
In the perspective of changing the rom, if you have a Lex 722 you have got a lemon. Period.
This is true now. Maybe a good day (I hope so) a courageous developer who has a Lex 722 on which to test will succeed in building a rom, but without source code is really likely to get sick! It is also true that you can always pick the code written for other phones and try. But it's incredibly hard anyway and, if that happens, you will never thank enough the teveloper!
Anyway, the Lex 722 and the Lex 720 are two different devices and each has its own area, mixing the two things will probably bring the war here!

Hi, looking to X722 toward X720/727 looks like looking to OP3/OP3T. Despite of different CPU, it is quite likely that these devices brings the same kernel and device tree.
Device name in build.prop is zl0 instead of zl1 and, to be honest, developing a ROM that could be OK for both devices shouldn't be a big hassle.
I could be in agreement with you about forum etiquette and so on, but I believe that who never tried never succeeded. ;)

Yes, you can customize a build using the resource overlay, what's missing is just a developer who has a Lex 722 on which to do experiments, or an user who agrees to try on his Lex 722 all the tests that are needed. Cheers!

Are there differences between supported FDD LTE brands between x720 and x727? Can i switch modem and non-hlos to x727 from x720 to get band 20 if x727 does not support band 20?

Does x722 have an unlocked bootloader? It is the Chinese version isnt it?

I was wondering if x722 has a brushed metal back or a mate metal back...
Matte metal. Do other versions have brushed metal?

Yes, use 20s rom/firmware x722 is shipped with. It is not possible on 26s rom/firmware as 26s has bugged bootloader unlock.

yes the leeco le pro 3 x720 has a brushed metal back wich makes it awesome. I personally have ordered the x722 though.

Great new that you installed TWRP on x722
hope there will be a custom rom soon for the x722

Guys, if there is information that LTE B20 is supported by this phone, I`m sure that it`s X720 version? I`m not asking about X722 with B20, but about Snapdragon 821 version.
Thanks!

You can debloat most of the China stuff in EUI, like:

- Turn off that video service screen on the left of Home screen
- Settings, app management, Installed apps - Uninstall
- Phone manager, App warehouse, Disable
- You can disable notifications for some apps, like calendar

It isn't a proper debloating but it moves china apps from the sight.
Could you pint me how to do that?
I have 727 that I wnt to try keeping at stock EUI but debloat it somehow?
