Difference in 4.3 and 4.4 touchwiz?

Is there a difference in touchwiz 4.3 and 4.4? My wife has a S4 stock 4.4 and my note 2 is on Alliance build 26 4.3 and I dont see any difference in touchwiz performance or anything at that besides a few icons look different. Am I over looking something
