Hi guys
I bought a galaxy tab s2 that Is marked sm-t815y. I think it's the asian version of the tablet. Do you think there are hardware differences between 815 and 815y? I'd like to upgrade the firmware to an european version but i don't know if it' supported.
Thank you in advance

You most likely can. Flash the firmware you want but make sure you have your firmware handy in case it doesn't work.

mmhh... no good news for me... i tried to flash the firmware for sm-t815 but didn't work. then i tried to flash the original firmware (or so i think) and now i can't start the tablet. i can only make it start in download mode.
I controlled before the flash and the data were:
ap: T815YDVU1AOG6
cp: T815YDVU1AOG6
csc: T815YOLB1AOG6

So i flashed the firmware with code T815YDVU1AOG6_T815YOLB1AOG6_T815YDVU1AOG6_HOME.tar taken from sammobile

i thought it was correct but doesn't work.

BTW, this link coming for Singapore 815Y and At&T sold this model too. And the bootloader is locked for AT&T and Verizon one... May be it's your case.

Are you loading the firmware tar into the AP slot and which version of odin are you using?
From the output it seems bootloader, boot and recovery flash successfully, but the system.img fails.
Usually because the image has the wrong signature and is not intended for your device.
This begs the question: Why didn't you make a full backup BEFORE flashing anything?
This one thing could have saved you a massive headache.

Hi is it correct to say the T815Y does not support the UK LTE Band B20, 800mhz ? Does any one know how many models of T815 there are and the frequencies supported.. Eg C supports TTD channels and Y supports a TTD channel....
Thx

As far as I know you are correct. No B20 on the Y variant. If you want B20 you should get the N variant (which swaps B28 for B20).
