Hey all,

I have the option of buying the phone straight from AT&T or getting an international unlocked version. I know that the Exynos processor is better for performance for the most part, but how are the radio's/performance/battery life in comparison to the SD820? I live right by NYC so I have full LTE everywhere I go right now. I'm not worried about VoLTE if that's an issue, I very rarely use the phone to call.

Thanks guys!

If the Note 7 is like the GS7 Edge, then the Exynos version will have better battery life. Right now, no one really knows.

One of the few reasons to go with a carrier phone is because they optimize the radios for their networks. S-820 devices use Qualcomm's X12 LTE modem which supports LTE-U. Exynos devices use Samsung Shannon 935 modem. Both support LTE category 11/12. They're the same modems used in the S7-series so look at their forums. Any happiness or unhappiness using either on AT&T would be the same for the Note7.

Im curious as well either getting the international version or Tmobiles version. I see the Note 5 international roms have alot more options and the processor is going to be better on the international variant.

Hi Guys,

I'm tired of asking for more and more details and not enough answers. Can you guys help me come up with a bottom line?

If I need an unlocked Bootloader and custom development support and using the phone in the US on AT&T or T-Mobile, which variant should I get? The regular N930F or the Dual SIM version the N930FD?

Thanks for your help!
