Guide to Trying out new ROMs

Is their a guide or anything with the steps to trying different MODs?

I guess what I mean is what is the method recommended for re installing ones data and accounts etc...?

To do it all over from scratch each time does not make me want to try very many different ROMs

Make a backup before you flash every mod, that way if you don't like it, you can restore right before you did it

When trying a new ROM can I restore the data only from the backup?
Titanium Backup is your friend. Back up all of your apps + data, then restore them once you've flashed the new rom. That way you won't have to sign back in to things like the Pandora app, or Facebook.

If this still doesn't answer your question be more specific, but I think that is what you were getting at.

Sorry peeps been out of town and really busy! Updated the post with all the latest roms, mods, etc! Plus a bunch load of new updates! Enjoy!

And be on the lookout for the new recommended apps/games list, working on it now - should be out soon enough!
Is there a thread for the ReVolt AOSP ROM? The link goes straight to the download page.

you might want to add True Icons V0.93 theme as well to list. Nottach Xposed v12 mod as well(in case it isn't there)

Nah there's no thread for the Revolt rom, some roms aren't up on XDA!

Omega ROM Port, I think the starter of that thread never got permission from Omega Developers and his links were taken down. I'm hoping they change their kind and support it. Stinks but in understand, its their work

Chainfires autoroot, easiest root method, and so far ktoonsez kernel is my recommendation.

Sweet, thanks! I'm kinda sorry I did not opt to pick it up in the store.. but I think it was because I did not feel like dealing with extra sales.. I look on my HTC now and I have so many apps that are running under superuser.. curious to see what the battery life is on the stock battery.

Not real sure what stock battery life was. It was stock for less than an hour for me.
