Hi Everyone,
Moved to Dirty Unicorns v9.8 (5.1 Lollipop) as my daily driver and just wanted to give general install instructions that worked for me so you don't have the same issues.
(1) Downloads: ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/orig-development/rom-dirty-unicorns-v9-0-t3006601Gapps: https://github.com/cgapps/vendor_google/tree/builds/arm Optional: Xposed: http://dl-xda.xposed.info/framework/sdk22/arm/
Note: Open gapps caused AOSP keyboard force close error that prevented doing anything so suggest installing the one from the link
(2) Boot into TWRP
(3) Wipe everything except external storage (assuming you put ROM and Gapps on external storage; if you do not have external storage suggest wiping system, data, cache, and dalvik)
(4) Install ROM, then Gapps, and then Xposed (optional)
(5) Restart and then should start up in less than 5 minutes
Other notes:
(1) To get adaway to work needed to follow the guide on the last post: http://goo.gl/9StE1z
(2) By default, long press home does nothing; that can be changed in the "Button" menu which is a sub menu in the "Dirty Tweaks" settings
(3) Found the nightmare CPU governor is the most stable for overclocking and have been running stable at 2.803 GHz (but have only tested for a few hours; if you do not want to overclock seems like kernel is stable with all governors)
(4) Found some issues switching between wifi and LTE (LTE would stop working) changed congestion algorithm to cubic and seems to be working better now, though unsure of root cause
