For the sake of clarity, What's pre-installed is Android Camera2. Not Google Camera.Google cam is preinstalled but I recommend installing the OOS cam port for video slow mo recording, 4k, etc..

So it's running hal3 I assume? For the sake of clarity, What's pre-installed is Android Camera2. Not Google Camera.
I installed OOS camera.apk and hal3 enabler zip but FCs every time if I want to go to camera settings. For the sake of clarity, What's pre-installed is Android Camera2. Not Google Camera.
OOS camera only uses hal1. So don't flash hal3 enabler, OOS camera is a striped down snap camera anyways.I installed OOS camera.apk and hal3 enabler zip but FCs every time if I want to go to camera settings.
what I'm wrong?
thank you
how it works that?just install the camera.apk?OOS camera only uses hal1. So don't flash hal3 enabler, OOS camera is a striped down snap camera anyways.
Just install OOS camera Apk without flashing the zip. You'll be good.how it works that?just install the camera.apk?
It's still not working correctly and I doubt it ever will. They literally wrote in jira that none of the devs had a multi sim device and thus this is low priority. And that was in March. I think it's very hard to fix, aex had this problem before they switched to completely different base, then it was working fine.Sim Settings.
Have any of you had sim card choices not sticking after reboot? Have tried latest official , liked it , but sim card settings on dual SIM resetting is a deal breaker for me. Has it been rectified on latest weeklies? Any advice much appreciated.
I never figured out how to set fastlane.. can you help me?I just discovered that the now the default Dirty Unicorns kernel has also blu_active governor.
So, without the need of flashing anything else, we can now just enable fastlane setting and play with its threshold to achieve the desired performance/battery balance.
Cheers!
Sure. Open a kernel manager like EX (paid) or kernel adiutor (free). Go to CPU settings and select Blu_active as your governor. Go to Governor settings. Switch fastlane from 0 to 1 to enable it. 50 should be the default threshold. If you set the value to a lower number, CPU will ramp up more aggressively.I never figured out how to set fastlane.. can you help me?
Just read a few post before you. There's a lot discussion about this.hey guys i can't find the option to swap hardware button in the latest weekly.
This helps a lot! I was using 'despair' governor and could not find fastlane in settings; once I switched to blu_active it poped right up. FWIW I'm using KronicCore 9.5 with 5/19 DU.Sure. I played around with the settings on DU and Blu Spark kernel a lot. Fastlane enabled with a threshold of 70 only on the small cluster is a configuration, I enjoyed a lot. It doesn't ruin your battery life, while improving scrolling performance noticeably. There is no perfect configuration, experiment with it until you find something that suits your usage.
Hope this helps you out.
Glad, that my information was helpful. It really depends on your personal preference. Default fastlane threshold is 50. I would adjust it until I'm satisfied with battery and performance. This helps a lot! Per your recommendation, I've set up blu_active and fastlane threshold at 70. It runs pretty similar to 'despair' in terms of scrolling smoothness. I'll do some casual testing with different kernel settings over the next week+ to try get more battery life while maintaining smooth scrolling performance. There's almost too many options these days..
On a side note, have you tried any of the profiles in the AKT thread? https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/advanced-interactive-governor-tweaks-t3476589

Doesn't sound very goodIt's pretty bad to not have an official thread for this rom on XDA. Dev base is dead and there's no way other than jira to get into a conversation with devs. Also, I never know which firmware should be used.
