It is OK, the firmware was never deleted from your phone, It is only getting updated through flashing new firmware or OxygenOS

This ROM is awesome... Why do they not want anything to do with XDA? I feel like having XDA threads would help with development or do they not have the time to monitor them?
XDA is not what use to be. Too much drama. And you are right about awesomeness of this ROM. Just follow them on G+ and you'll be fine[emoji6]
I just feel like they don't have the amount of users that they could if they at least had a thread where the ROM was listed... I didn't even know about this ROM till today but have already flashed like 8 others from XDA lol this one is by far the best. Wish I had found it sooner
Well that's the problem with XDA. It turned from a development community to a demanding community. Just read through all these development threads.. Rather sooner or later you'll find someone complaining about this or that in a really rude way. Demanding for this or that, without crediting the developer's. We are a community not customers, but those people who don't understand this are digging the grave of XDA..
The real enthusiasts are following the devs anyways. I understand why they don't give a **** about the rest..
I'm using DU ( Team D.I.R.T )since my SG2. Trust me, most of the features, what you see on others ROMs are from them. Very talented team.
Has anyone here used both this and GZR Validus? How do they compare?

Certainly, was on stock for many days but the betas were becoming more difficult to use after each update. tried DU and man impressive features and super battery.
Only worry was the camera which is ordinary
This DU and AOSPA are the best available right now. Only this better about AOSPA is the smoothness of the UI and scrolling on apps like Facebook.
In order to follow on their Google+ Profile, does one have to login their own Google account or have a G+ Profile in order to follow or discuss ?

In fact I discourage the updating process only.
Anyone is confirming that clean flash won't get you in troubles.
So, I'm only discouraging to dirty flash latest official update
You should always update the firmware.
Since rom is based on latest Nougat, you wouldn't get in compatibility troubles.
