Firstly,
i would not suggest to root coloros because after rooting it freezes like every minute and only way is to force reboot by pressing volume up + power button, Believe me its annoying.
R2X2 by anabhi isn't able to install magisk 19+ versions it only installs magisk 17.1 version (I don't know if only for me or for all)
So, I used orange fox recovery.
coming to the point,
here are the steps i used to disable core-only mode in my color os and it worked for me..
1. install magisk 20.3 from recovery than reboot (do not install latest version of magisk as of now 20.4)
2. reboot to system. now you will be seeing core-only mode in magisk manager
3. update your manager to latest version ( only magisk manager not magisk )
4. after that go to settings in magisk manager and disable core-only mode
5. after disabling core-only mode close manager from recents, and open again
6. check if core-only mode is disabled in settings then only proceed to next step
7. now update magisk to 20.4 through manager (Direct install (recommended) option) and reboot by clicking yellow reboot button below
Voila,
now you will not see core-only mode in magisk manager...
Well , It works for me So , check if it works for you also....
happy rooting coloros
