Disable Default ASUS Launcher without Root and use any Launcher

Make sure you have installed another Launcher before disabling the Asus launcher

Yeah ... I installed NOVA Launcher and disable Asus Launcher through Win10 CMD window, it's fine for everything except when I run Amoury Create and exit this app, system will crash.

that's weird. We have the same setup but Armoury Crate is working fine.

Try another launcher or a different version of nova

I realized that disable command I type was "adb shell pm enable com.asus.launcher" ( com.asus.launcher3 is not work for me) although we are in same WW ROM, maybe that's the reason cause the difference.

If Asus launcher has a different name than "launcher3" in a different rom then just download "App inspector" from the play store and find the name of the ASUS launcher and replace the launcher name in the command line.

Noted ! My ROG Phone 2 is 12G/512G WW Version and the package name is "com.asus.launcher" of ASUS Launcher.

So even on the WW version of the phone you can't change the default launcher.?

Is there a way to switch the recents back to the side scrolling after you disable the Asus home?

Right now switching it to Nova makes it the vertical scrolling ones

The recent apps window. When disable the default ASUS launcher you get the classic vertical scrolling recents and not the horizontal one.

Yes. Installing fluid navigation gestures fixes it AND improves upon the gestures so it’s even better now lol

Umm I didn't lose the gestures. So I'm not sure. Only thing that I lost was the horizontal recents menu.

I lost the game lobby after installing Nova Launcher. Anybody knows how to restore it?
