Disable Lockscreen

Is there anyway to disable the lock screen?

I also have the BTV-W09 and I disable the lock screen in the developer options after removing the security in the lock screen settings.

It is greyed out and says "Disabled by administrator, encryption policy or credential storage". I don't have any kind of screen lock password set.

Have you disable the security in the lock screen settings? (set to none)
If so, have you encrypted your storage? I think it would prevent from removing the security.

Lockscreen security is set to none and storage is not encrypted. I have also cleared credentials and device administrators. Lockscreen is grayed out on both of my Mediapad M3's. I can't figure out why. My Mediapads are not rooted… wonder if I need root?

I'm at loss. I'm indeed rooted so maybe that's what allow me to change it?

@ ncguy68 Do you have a work email installed such as outlook connected to an exchange server? I know that outlook enforces a lockscreen requirement for me on my mobile devices based on criteria sent from my work exchange server. Most likely this is not your problem, but it is always good to check the easy stuff first

I tried deleting all accounts except Google and it still did not show up. Thanks for the suggestion.

I'm wondering if the Lockscreen option only shows up if rooted?
