Basic problem with a simple solution you'd think. Because my phone is in my pocket all day and I do a lot of rolling about on the floor at work and crouching behind cupboards cabinets, and even just sitting down, the power button ends up being pressed which I've realised is why my battery is sometimes down to 30% by 5pm. Some days it can be 100% after 12-15 hours at work if I don't keep catching the power button so this is clearly a massive design flaw.
I've had a look around and not found any information that is useful. I've installed keyremapper and that doesn't do anything more than what I did when I had a play with the Generic.kl file. I can disable the power button wake function but then I can't wake the phone up with swype (or whatever that thing is where you unlock it with the soft buttons). I then tried reassigning the wake function the volume keys and this didn't work either.
Is there a solution to this or do I just have to put up with this massive failing of an otherwise decent phone?
