Disable read only in system partition

Hi, I have a question. I have an axon 7 2017 G with unlocked bootloader, TWRP, and stock ROM (nougat). In TWRP, I set the system partition as read only (following the guidelines described in the different tutorials). Anyway, what happen if I disable it and I set the system partition writable?
