I know it says for galaxy s4 but the apk's are the same.

Root is easy so long as you don't mind breaking the warranty.

Thank you, however, I have knox installed.

Would I be able to go back to official firmware and unroot?.

Plus how do Samsung know you rooted your tablet?.

There is a knox counter which, when stock is 0X0. When rooted, the counter is tripped and goes to 0X1. There is no way to undo this and samsung will know.

You can always go back to stock by flashing stock firmware at anytime

Ah a fellow Uker.

I be tempted to root only so I can have apps like Sketchbook in window mode, however, since I just brought it I probably not bother yet.
