@sigo2oo9, I'm afraid your device is officially ripe for the service center... Unless your battery has depleted and you need a charging dock to revive it, your problems might come from broken flash memory...

That what it currently does has nothing to do with the softbrick you get when relocking a bootloader on a custom kernel... Then it would not even show you the sony kernel logo...
Thanks mate, so you think I should play dumb with Sony then?

Somewhere in Oz...
I heard of some dude flashing a zip file to flash a kernel that was meant for N7000. Turned out that on XZ it was a bootloader partition that was written to. Device was totally brricked. Gotta be careful.....

Xperia pro can't turn on :(

Hi,

Sorry for asking here..I am not using xperia Z but xperia pro and find out this thread which is I think will help my problem.
Yesterday I tried to root my phone using Doomlord method, but it needs kernel .562 while mine was .587. I managed to flash it using flashtool, and after it's finished, I found my phone can't turn on. Only 3 buttons below the screen blinking, vibrate once, and nothing happened to the screen only blank. Can I some suggestion about getting on my xperia?because my xperia is in lockedbootloader and unrooted before it happened.
Thanks a lot...

You have a softbrick, you flashed a custom kernel on a locked bootloader.

Use any FTF and the Flashtool guide to flash the sony kernel only, you will probably get it working without breaking in to too much sweat ;)

Oke will try it, I think the kernel I flashed is the custom one not the original one :(
Will it be able to be flashed if I used the sony kernel?because the flashtool didn't even able to flash it. On computer screen, it stuck on 'how to flash sequence', the one that we need to push back button during flashing.
Thanks a lot for your reply.

Take out your battery, disconnect your USB cable.

Put flashtool on that same point again, put back your battery but DO NOT POWER IT UP! Now hold the back button while reconnecting the USB cable. :good:

Hi Nut, seems that you're here as well :p

I actually bricked my device guys, currently what happens:
>Connect phone via USB to PC
>Phone connects ( with red LED blinking, at 1 blink per sec, slightly faster actually )
>Phone disconnects by itself, connects again, repeat but on Flashtool no indication that the phone is disconnected.

Holding VOL-D or UP does not give any effect (as per usual flashmode/fastboot triggering method).

And to whomever able to help me get my phone working again (without going to Sony), I'll donate some money to you, enough for 2 days' lunch. *however depends on the currency you're using*

Sounds like your battery is depleted. Charge for a few hours using the original charger and cable.
After that try flashing a stock Sony kernel fitting for your firmware

Done so. Connected phone with original charger AND original cable via USB port for entire night. Still not able to get it switched on.

Sometimes I even charge it for more than 12 hours. Still the same. :(

I meant charge through mains. Your computers USB port won't charge fast enough, since USB only gives 500mah, which just isn't enough. (unless you use a special quick charge slot but i do doubt that)
