Flashing Error
I tried flashing my Sony Xperia Z Ultra many times, but it failed...
Actually, that time i was flashing custom rom, but it couldn't get into the system, and then i tried to flash another rom, and it got bootloop since then...
I always got error, and the flashing aborted...

Hmm... first of all... just to be on the safe side, please update Flashtool to the latest version (0.9.19.10) and try once more. Please report back once you tried and let me know if it still fails or that it actually worked fine that attempt.

I try to make everything post here, I have xperia z1 with 5.1 lollipop, I tried to downgrade to unlock de bootloader but at the end the xperia only show red light or blue (fastboot), black screen, no logo, nothing, I made a testpoint and I flash the original rom for this phone but it continues with black screen.
I try to flash again only the kernel but nothing happen, only vibrate 1 time and don't show anything, black screen.

Please help me guys. My xperia z is c6602 unlock bootloader with resurrection marsmallow rom. Yesterday i decide to back my xperia z to stock firmware. So i flash stock firmware lolipop using flashtool. After the flash is finish and power my divece. Only sony logo appear and after that black screen only. How to solve this

I have installed the XZ-lockeddualrecovery2.8.26-release.combined from my PC...
everythig worked fine, I did a back-up on the SD card.
after that I copied on another sd card the cm-13.0-20160507-unofficial-uga.zip, the z.5.1.1 ramdisk replacer for cm13.0, open gapps arm 6.0 nano and the xz.zip...
I started again recovery from the PC, I think that was the mistake, and tried to install everything in one move...
I think there was not enough space on the ram for all this...
the phone bootes until the xperia logo and then freezes.
I tried a lot of thigs with no success.

Just happened to me, after normal using RR latest build 5.8.2 on my Xperia Z, after a reboot, i only got xperia logo and then bootloop. I was able to access only fastboot. I thought battery died, although it was 50% charged at the time of reboot,because it looked like it couldn't charge. So i ordered a new one and in the meanwhile i opened the back cover just to be ready to replace the battery. Then i tried to disconnect the battery, put charger in and while charging reconnected the battery. Phone came back to life and now its charging (waiting to charge at least 50% before i try to boot, battery was completely drained), so maybe that's the case with you. Battery can die even though it looks like its not fully drained.

Problem with Xperia Z after a serious mistake i made. I had Android 5.1.1 and TWRP 3.0.2.0 recovery.
The wrong was that i flashed within Recovery newer TWRP version, 3.1.0.0 img file. It gave me only one option to be flashed into BOOT section, and i made the mistake to accept that, but i sould not proceed because did not gave me option to flash on FOTA .After that phone fall to Bootstall. The flash mode stop work, led blink red and green once. Fastboot mode works and i flash many Kernels. I try to flash many other versions of Android 5.1.1 but no one worked. I flash Android KitKat 4.4.2 and the phone worked with errors. I flash Resurrection Remix N v.5.8.3 and phone works perfectly! but the problem remain. Does any one know how can i make flash mode (Power key + Volume down) work again? Boot loader is unlocked. Thank you.

My phone starts with SONY logo (during 12 seconds), then turns to black (with back-light) and automatically reboots after 18 seconds.
fastboot mode is OK (POWER + VOL DOWN)
flashmode is OK (POWER + VOL UP)
Try to unlock (as I used to do it before) but :
- always ends with COMMAND FAILED ERROR with command line
- seems to be unlocked using flashtool BLU function but doesn't unlock it for real
I don't know what to do more. It seems like the kernel partition is corrupted and cannot be written.
I tried a lot of flashtool versions, FTF files, kernel / boot images, as well as PC companion, EMMA, SUS, ...
I cannot charge my phone correctly since it reboots every 30 seconds
Any help / advice will be appreciated.

My phone starts with SONY logo (during 12 seconds), then turns to black (with back-light) and automatically reboots after 18 seconds.
fastboot mode is OK (POWER + VOL DOWN)
flashmode is OK (POWER + VOL UP)
Try to unlock (as I used to do it before) but :
- always ends with COMMAND FAILED ERROR with command line
- seems to be unlocked using flashtool BLU function but doesn't unlock it for real
I don't know what to do more. It seems like the kernel partition is corrupted and cannot be written.
I tried a lot of flashtool versions, FTF files, kernel / boot images, as well as PC companion, EMMA, SUS, ...
I cannot charge my phone correctly since it reboots every 30 seconds
Any help / advice will be appreciated.

Hi!
I have unbricked my phone successfully by using xflasher and flashing this ROM (https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z/general/stock-rom-xperia-z-c6603-10-6-0-454-t3127499) 1 file by 1 file in a specific order.
(pre-requisite : installed flashtool 0.9.13 drivers and ADB and fastboot drivers 1.4.3)

Hello guys, my ZL C6503 is dead, I have tried everything and did not worked. It was working fine one day and was dead in the other, I think maybe some water got inside, I already used the hair dryer and did't work either.
When I try to turn it on it vibrate once, rests for about 2 seconds and then vibrates 3 times repeatedly. I does the same thing connected to the power cable. Cannot connect to the pc for fastboot, it just keep on with the vibration.
Dou you guys think that replacing the battery will work?
Any help at all will be much appreciated. Thank you.
