In any FTF you can dig up for your device on XDA.where can i find stock Sony kernel image??
Just use SUS to restore your phone. That will work just fine.i just bought the xperia z which had .350 firmware which i rooted & installed recovery & flashed purexaudio...& then changed the recovery to dual recovery....then i decided to restore a backup i made before installing the mod....but after restoring & wipind dalvik cache...my phone doesnt boot it goes till the bootanimation & just stays there...no reboots nothing just stuck on the animation....so i tried to flash a global 350 ftf but flashtool wasnt detecting the firmware....so i am trying sony update center....is that safe? would it brick my device? also sus is an independent application am i right? or is it part of pc companion? this is what i am using

if someone knows of an ftf that has worked for them...could you please post the link of that ftf?? any help would be appreciated thank you
And remember it for future useThis thread did the trick when I was too impatient installing CM. I am already on my 2nd XZ and for a while I thought I needed another one.
Thanks sprinkled among the thread.
Cheers NUT, brilliant.
Downgrade with wiping data.after i downgrade to 434, my xperia z cant boot up, some sort like a boot loop, nfc is upgrading, then over and over again, is there anyway to recover that?

Dude,Bricked my phone again
It starts boot and shuts off.
Can't connect via flashmode (voldown key) and using the tutorial (power+volup and when the screen goes black, voldown).
When i keep power and volup it show a red led and vibrates once. No screen going black. If i keep it pressed it vibrate 3 times...
I could get it in fastboot mode but the cmd dont find the phone :/
hahah.Dude,![]()
How the hell did you brick it like that?
So, did you fix it in the end? Could you power off the phone? Because your phone did vibrate normally but the screen didn't turn off...
Maybe time to relock and flash stock to return it for repairs

Oh, about the LED, it does that for me too, don't worry too much about that... But I'm glad you got it working againhahah.
I was installing Pac Rom.
I flashed kernel via fastboot and booted into recovery, there TWRP cant "see" the files for some time. After lots of reboots with power+volup it recodnized my internal memory...
So i installed the zip with PAC rom and reboot. After that the phone shut off and only powered up after i pressed power+volup for 15 sec...
I charged it to 100%, restarted the PC and leave the phone off for 30 minutes, then i tried to flash stock via flashmode and it flashed (thank god)
i think i noticed: Now, when connected via flashmode, the green led dont stays on. It pop's up red, then flash 1 time green and shuts off....
Now i'm scared of bricking it again, no more Kernels for now :x
thanks man! i was freaking out kkkkkkkkkkOh, about the LED, it does that for me too, don't worry too much about that... But I'm glad you got it working again

Grab the stock FTF you wanted to use, open it with winzip/winrar/7zip and extract the kernel.sin. Try flashing that using the fastboot option in FlashTool.i dont know what i did!
i had cm10.1 FXP!
then i thought of reverting back to stock!
so i opened flashtool and prepare for bootloader relock!
everything was done but then!
i tried to flash a ftf stock but it could not do that!
then i thought that maybe i should remain on cm only
so i unlocked my bootloader again and when i tried to root the phone using doomlords method i was stuck!
((
now my phone just vibrates and red led blinks
it can still get into fastboot(blue led)
please help me...i dont know a thing!
i just want to go to stock or have my phone working!
pleaseee!
someone!!!!
hey ui somehow managed to get to CM10.1 again!Grab the stock FTF you wanted to use, open it with winzip/winrar/7zip and extract the kernel.sin. Try flashing that using the fastboot option in FlashTool.
IF it will show a SONY logo then, try to get in to FLASHMODE and flash the entire FTF.
When you have an unlocked bootloader you can go back to stock only with flashtool or emma.hey ui somehow managed to get to CM10.1 again!
now am really fed up of reboots and stuff!
and thinking of going to stock!
so should i just use the SUS or PC Companion or flashtool?
