bricked xperia zl (C6502)

my xperia zl it maybe soft or hard brick, i dont know..
- after press the power button,the phone is vibrate and showing the sony logo just in 1-2 second..
- when i plug in the usb cable to my xperia is automatically connected in "flash mode" even i dont press any button..
i dont have make TA backup before unlock bootloader..

-flashed offcial kernel = failed (flashtool)
-flashed custom kernel = failed(flashtool)
-flashed using SUS = failed (im locked my phone back)

please help !!

If you use the reset switch and keep it pressed for a while (15 seconds max) does your phone vibrate 3 times?

If your phone automatically connects in flashmode your system partition is gone (i mean, unreadable).

Try flashing the system partition of any customization only.

Alternatively, try re-unlocking the bootloader and flashing DooMKernel (fastboot!) and try to create a nandroid backup. Then flash an entire FTF excluding the kernel.

i just know what problem on my device..my battery is dead..
and now im try to charge the battery directly from charger.
output 5V - 350mah charged about 4 hours..and my device is turned on perfectly..

You can flash it from any firmware with flashtool,just exclude anything else.

thanks for your help, but i cant into flashmode, i connect usb cable and keep vol down, but nothing happend, just start a led red appear an disappear

well, while im writing this, mi phone could into flashmode and i flashed a stock fw.

I bricked my Z, don't know soft or hard.

I unlocked my boatloader, everything went well and it said successful in cmd prompt, but it did not format my phone.
I thought that was weird (since their isn't any definitive way to check if BL is unlocked or not) I formatted my phone and sd card and flashed PAC rom zip from the recovery i had from my previous rom ROMAUR and It FAILED.
Now my phone wont boot past the sony logo.

Not sure but i think i still have a locked bootloader.

I tried flashing stock kernel.sin via fastboot it gave me this error

I tried SUS it says phone has modified software cannot update. Does this mean my BL is Unlocked ?

If you can flash and use PAC then yes, that does mean your bootloader has been unlocked, but some how I'm sceptical about you not knowing that... Or did you purchase this phone second-hand?

I have a 'tiny' problem.... Actually its really making me mad.

I have a Xperia z C6606 with the stock firmware. I am stuck in a bootloop and the only thing i can do is load recovery.

My PC does not recognize my device when i plug it in, nor can i access it using the flashtool.
I also can not activate ADB due to being stuck either in bootloop or in recovery.
SUS also says that i have the most up to date version of the software, so no help there...

Is there a rom that will run on the stock C6606 10.1.1.B.0.166 firmware? Just enough to get me into ADB to where i can connect to the flashtool so i can fix this giant mess.


I am well aware that i completely f'd this up, i am just looking for some help.

Press volume up+ power for 10-15 seconds till you have 3 vibrations this will shutdown your phone than use flaahtool.

Please provide more information on why flashtool and SUS failed: attach logs from flashtool and include a step by step break up of your recovery attempts...

Hi NUT,

I end up in the same situation as Venky. As I thought my phone would format after unlocking my bootloader. Same here. As I thought it would format your internal and sd.
What do I need to do? Fastboot works. And I tried to flash boot.img file from pac.
It didn't worked.

As it said:
Fastboot ouput: sending 'boot'
OKAY [0.341s]
writing 'boot'
FAILED (remote: Command not allowed)
finished total time 0.343s

After that I tried to do a hotboot
It also give me the same line as
FAILED (status read failed (to many links))


Can you please help me?

I flashed Doomlord's kernel Advance Stock Kernel with Recovery v07 (FW:*10.3.A.0.423

flashed it via fastboot adb.
The ADB command fastboot flash boot boot.img didn't work

SO I tried fastboot flash:raw boot boot.img That did the job and now I have a cwm.
I grabbed my balls together and flash pac rom + gapps.

Phone rebooted. still loading now. I let it settle and see if it will work

Phone keeps on pacman roms - game over - insert coin. Is that normal?

To be honest, this might be the wrong thread to ask about Pac, but you can try to flash back a stock Rom while wiping everything. Then try to flash the kernel once more the usual way. If you have problems flashing that it might be the root cause of any other problem down the chain....
