Try to flash a stock kernel from an FTF to test... My guess is that that will work just fine.

And I mean extract the sin file and try to flash it with fastboot mode to test...
where can i find a stock kernel? if i use google i only find doomkernel or other customs

Grab one of these, or from any FTF you might have kicking around.
ok i follow your tips and try to flash a stock kernel (i've download from the link) but the same error again.
fail to write boot. i have extract the .zip archive and try to open the kernel.sin but there is the error again.
the sxz is in fastboot mode and i choose the fastboot mode on the flashtool.

i dont know what i'm doing wrong.

Well, as it is an FTF, try to flash it in flashmode and try fastboot again...

What applications do you have running when you launch flashtool? Pcc maybe?

You could try to check if @Androxyde can help you out, it's probably something weird.

Thanks for the donation mate, really appreciate it!

As long as you don't tamper with the TA partition you will only risk running in to bootloops... Just go for it ;)

trouble with recoveries

Hi [NUT],
This is mixed bag issue, so as a patience might first go to a general practitioner, I’m asking for directions or a road map.
Specs: XZ, UB and deodeex, rooted .67 rom V2 Drummerjed. Before that it had V1, rooted and TWRP recovery. Before, previous stock, rooted and TWRP recovery, with LB (Kingroot, I think).
Since updating to V2, with dual recovery, I keep loosing recovery. I think this started because of a busybox update… I’ve read it can cause issues with recovery, so off with busybox updater.
Basically, I tried to install xposed and zblast and found out wow my recoveries were gone. That never happened with V1 and single recovery, so I had various nandroids, luckily.
Being without recovery, I used Zrecovery.apk (my previous TWRP single recovery) to reinstall recovery. Got unstable, could not boot system (had Bootstall).
Flashtooled .67 stock rom, used doomlord exploit for root, installed Zrecovery/TWRP and installed V2 from recovery, which brought dual recovery.
At this point, from clean install, TWRP did not read data from my internal and external sd card (CWM was fine). I kept getting bootstalls with the purplish led, except it wouldn’t go into recovery, until I held on Vol UP. The Vol UP power combo for turning off works, I can get into fastboot to flash recoveries but its all unstable.
So I used Zrecovery again and got 2 TWRP recoveries (vol up and vol down). The latter, from the dual recovery, wouldn’t read sd card; the former, allowed for a new android backup and I restored my system.
I’ve fiddled around like this several times trying to get stability and recoveries, so I’ve actually lost track of exact movements. I can, however, through the dual TWRP recoveries restore my data… but loose recoveries if I keep the dual recovery CWM and TWRP…

I don’t know where else to look: I’d like to post recovery logs, but I don’t know if their accurate (will using a formated fresh sd card help figure this out?). I have several gigs of data I would like to recover from android. I’ve tried to clean out the old recovery, but failed. Whats strange is the issues arise even when I flash stock rom, install recovery, and restore nandroid of Drummerjed .67 and my data (or root it first).

Presently I have the rom installed, my data on, but no recoveries. EDIT: I can enter into CWM recovery after modding off button to include reboot into recovery; I can´t enter CWM using the usual Power ON+Vol UP). end EDIT

So I don’t want to fiddle again aimlessly. I suspect that something I have on the backups is messing with the boot data and dual recoveries, but I have no clue how to begin. I’ve read several threads here; I’m moderately experience (unlocked, locked BL and unlocked again; have flashed various android roms on my dell streak 5, and windows 6.5 my Samsungs made for 6.1.); but I’m at a loss here…

Any pointers please?

Well... it's simple really: return to a previous version of drummerjed's ROM where it all worked, install titanium backup and create an app backup of all you wish to save and restore, make sure you store the backup on your external SDCard (needs the paid pro app to backup sms and mms messages I believe, but trust me: it's worth it!).

Then install a FULL ftf of the ROM you wish to use, in which you wipe everything, including internal storage, so make sure you have a backup of it's contents! Root it and install recovery (anything JB 4.2.x will cause the old single recoveries not to work, install my XZDualRecovery RELEASE package instead of the BETA!).

Once you have a working base ROM with root and recovery, create a nandroid backup of the phone. Then reinstall titanium backup and restore apps on a per-app basis, a few at a time and then reboot your phone to see if it all went OK. If you run in to problems you can start narrowing down the restore to the one causing the bootloops and other issues... You can use Nandroid Manager to explore your older nandroid backups and retrieve anything you might have lost along your attempts to fix your phone.

This should be the way back to a correctly working phone with minimal loss of content.

Thanks for the clarity, of both vision and your advice. I'll try to do this during the weekend.

One question, though: when you say full rom install through FTF, you mean with flashtool or fastboot, as opposed to installing a zip file through recovery. I presume I can follow Appollo89's guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2311211 guide to creating ftf files from sony downloads to create an FTF from custom roms in zip format (I'm at work and cant't look into my files right now to answer this myself) like your deodexd .67 or drummerjed's. Assuming yes, it raises a second question for me: you recommend I use your dual recovery, this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606. However, most recent roms include a version of dual recovery, so I conclude that I should force install (reflash) your dual recovery. Right?

After I've done this, I'll post update and feedback.
Thanks
