BIG DISCLAIMER! First of all i wanna make you all aware of an issue
when you upgrade your drivers on a rom thats already in use.
The Optical Image Stabilization of the camera will break if you update your graphics drivers.
Happens on both, oreo and pie roms
Down below is a workaround to have working OIS.
Everything else on your camera will still work tho, meaning you can still use stock camera
with all its features (except OIS of course) and GCam mods (if you have cam2 api).

HOWEVER!
There is a workaround (albeit slightly inconveniant) to have the latest drivers and OIS still working.
You gotta flash those drivers on a fresh/clean rom installation, meaning that right after you flashed your rom in twrp, you have to flash the driver zip.
Do NOT boot into system before that last step. Only boot the device after you have flashed the rom and the adreno drivers.
SAME GOES FOR UPDATING A ROM. Flash the updated rom zip and then immediately flash/reflash the adreno driver zip (bcs full rom zip updates will most likely restore the orignal drivers they come with) so you keep OIS working.
That is currently the only known method unfortunately.

There is also a Magisk module version for the drivers on the linked thread if you want to test them and have an easy way to revert back to your original drivers by uninstalling the module.
Note that these drivers are not LG G5 exclusive. They work on all compatible devices (including our beloved axon 7 of course)
Im currently on latest crDroid (by @raystef66) using [email protected]_Vulkan-1.1.128 V4.0 zip
They work without any issues so far (i did a fresh install like mentioned above to have working OIS)
