I did not feel any noticeable lag for the spinner transition in V7.1, its very smooth and niceee! I like it a lot!!

I have Darktremor A2SD and a lot of my applications are installed on my SD card.
I want to flash this ROM.
Do i have to install all my applications manually after flashing this new ROM?

Use titanium backup and backup ur apps. Wipe all Then flash this rom. After that install titanium backup and restore ur apps.

If I flash the ROM, the apps which are present on the A2SD partition on memory card, they will still be there. So will I have to format that partition too after flashing the ROM?
Or before flashing ROM, do I uninstall all the applications?

It simplies backups ALL ur app including those on a2sd partition to a separate folder. And no need to uninstall ur apps just wipe all/factory reset and flash. I recommend u wipe /system too before flashing.

Each installed rom is a world apart. Even following the common or uncommon operation or suggestion something may goes wrong. The right thing to do first of all is a full nandroid backup,then you can try yourself the steps you retain right.
