For me, the camera is not working with thor image.
Please be specific if can:
- Not working or saying there's a problem connecting to camera (in the log it says "no rear camera)
- Does Hangouts work? Or Skype?
- There are also 3rd party cameras which dont require rear camera to work. We'll need those tested.

That being said, our Kitkat camera blobs really need to be built from source and I'm working on it :)

In camera app it says "keine Verbindung zur Kamera möglich", which may be "There's a problem connecting to your camera". With Skype camera is working.

Thanks for the update.

The main issue is that the actual "camera" app requires a rear camera or it will generate the error you're seeing.

I'm looking into ways of fixing this eventually. But, for the most part the camera should work in other apps which don't require the rear camera.

I think i have found a little typo when i tried to Build CM following the WIKI
https://wiki.cyanogenmod.org/w/Build_for_thor

When extracting the proprietary blobs with
./extract-files.sh

The following error occours:
Extracting /system/etc/firmware/a300_pm4.fw ...
111 KB/s (9220 bytes in 0.080s)
113 KB/s (9220 bytes in 0.079s)
../hdx-common/setup-makefiles.sh: line 130: ../../../vendor/amazon/adreno-330/adreno-330-vendor-blobs.mk: No such file or directory
wc: ../hdx-common/proprietary-adreno-files.txt: No such file or directory
grep: ../hdx-common/proprietary-adreno-files.txt: No such file or directory
grep: ../hdx-common/proprietary-adreno-files.txt: No such file or directory
../hdx-common/setup-makefiles.sh: line 171: ../../../vendor/amazon/adreno-330/adreno-330-vendor.mk: No such file or directory
--

After i renamed
/android/system/device/amazon/hdx-common/proprietary-files-adreno.txt
to
/android/system/device/amazon/hdx-common/proprietary-adreno-files.txt

the script finished without an error

- I was able to pair my Apollo with a bluetooth keyboard so pairing seemed to work ok
- It then took a couple of attempts to connect

right ,,thats what it continues to do ,,with bluetooth ,,i will be watching a movie on it using headphones and then it will cut back to the speaker, or sometimes no sound at all unless i stop and restart the video,, but the wifi will work and then after being idle for a few minutes will need to reconnect

Is that occuring on the latest build?

I think there is still a problem with the blobs

brunch thor

exits with this error message:

Copy: /home/seba/android/system/out/target/product/thor/system/vendor/lib/libOmxQcelp13Dec.so
make: *** No rule to make target 'vendor/amazon/thor/proprietary/vendor/lib/libOmxMux.so', needed by '/home/seba/android/system/out/target/product/thor/system/vendor/lib/libOmxMux.so'. Stop.

Copy: /home/seba/android/system/out/target/product/thor/system/vendor/lib/libOmxAacDec.so
make: Leaving directory '/home/seba/android/system'

#### make failed to build some targets (49:13 (mm:ss)) ####

--

I could not find any
vendor/lib/libOmxMux.so
lokal on my Kindle HDX

Is it possible to "skip" this file?
Any hints?

Apologies. I fixed this today. You can repo sync and those changes should come down.

Please re-do the setup-makefiles.sh script after that.

Sideload ...?
Of course, it works. Just paying attention. With any previous cm-bulds i had no incompability with any apps at playstore.
Yeah, I was a little hesitant to post that observation given the OPer but we all have occasional brain gas. :) Apologies if it appeared demeaning.

My experience with CM 11 and 12.1 has been a little different. The vast majority of playstore installs w/o fuss but a few need to be sideloaded. There doesn't seem to be any common thread and some that work with CM 11 builds are flagged as incompatible with 12.1 which make no sense (these aren't KitKat specific apps). Just sharing my experiences.
