I was hoping someone could help me, i installed the latest nightly and the gapps with the fixes for sod and the bootanimation and everything seems to be running well except my nook doesn't go into deep sleep and the top running process is AndroidOS. I used to have CM7 but i did a complete wipe factory reset to stock nook os then installed CM9 (not sure which nightly i started with). When i updated to latest nightly i wiped cache and dalvik cache then flashed the nightly build. Am i doing something wrong?

Nothing wrong, it is a bug with CM9. It does not always sleep well, especially with wifi on.

Thank you!!!!
What bugs can we expect as far YouTube, flash player. Boot loop . A breakdown of what to expect and not to expect. I don't expect anything but like to know for flashing
There is almost no bugs, youtube and all gapps work flawlessly... best alpha ever! BUT there are occasional crashes when using the browser... NBD and battery life isnt exactly the best either

The what who?
The properly res'd boot animation zip. Should be simple to slip into your github for future builds. PITA to have to reflash it every time you flash a build from your github.
Also any update on the longpress power options? It looked like you patched it in but i thought CM9 had a built in power manager that it would work with.

I am seeing around .5% discharge per hour with wi-fi on (maybe a bit more). Certainly nothing to worry about. It comes on every time I press the power button. I don't have a lock screen. Maybe that affects the waking up.

I am also running from an SD card. I have read of little differences in the way things act between eMMC and SD but not ever explained.

Hmmm.... Just flashed the latest nightly (1-27), and I can't seem to get the thing to connect to wifi at all. I'm at college so I have to open my browser to accept the terms before I can surf, but I can't even connect at all to get that far. It just says connecting, the signal drops to "poor" where it was excellent before I told it to connect, and then it just says "saved" and I get no connection. Any ideas? Anyone else having the issue?

I think he means the boot animation zip fix
This won't help. If it is handled by the encore branch, it gets overwritten with the default animation. I tested it with fattire. The CM team won't accept the change to the code that permits local animations. The correct way to handle it is that once the CM team makes a final animation, there will be a properly rotated version along side the other versions for the various screen densities.

Has anyone flashed the nightly CWM Recovery? If so how is it working?

Thanks!
I flashed the nightly from the 25th yesterday and did some pretty heavy browsing, RSS, and email last evening - everything ran pretty well, a few freezes that seemed to be live wallpaper related.

So far, so good. Everything I was looking for out of my Nook Color when I bought it last year for sure.

Actually I was asking about the experimental CWM recovery, but this has been running great for me as well. Thanks to all the devs working on CM9, it is amazing.

So no one else having any connectivity issues on either the 26th or 27th nightlies?? Might just be my colleges Wifi, they haven't had any ICS users yet. And the WiFi worked great on stock 1.3.0.

Edit: I can open a thread if I need to, just wanted to check real quick with yall about any potential solutions.

I know that there were some issues discussed in the dev thread, particularly regarding dlink routers. If you dig back a few pages you might find the fix that was posted.

anyone having issues with browser hanging and having to reboot?

Sent from my HTC Inspire 4G using xda premium
Yes, that is my wife's biggest complaint about it. Other than that, we both love this. I am about to buy another one because of CM9.
I did as well for about 5 minutes, then I installed dolphin hd browser. Works like champ.
