I'm trying to get the latest nightly on my sd card and it keeps saying that there is not enough space. What's up with that? I've partitioned my card more than once, and I should have a huge amount of space on my boot partition, but its just not working. Anyone else have this?

Nevermind: fixed it.
I found that I could open the nightlies in WinRAR and delete the video FILES (not sure about the whole folder) from the media folder and that made it fit on the SD card just right with only 400+k free space.

On another note, I have experienced issues with flash video files playing via my web browser but am testing other browsers as I type this to see if they will play my church's website right.... will report back, DOLPHIN HD and Opera Mobile are my current test subjects.

I was hoping someone could help me, i installed the latest nightly and the gapps with the fixes for sod and the bootanimation and everything seems to be running well except my nook doesn't go into deep sleep and the top running process is AndroidOS. I used to have CM7 but i did a complete wipe factory reset to stock nook os then installed CM9 (not sure which nightly i started with). When i updated to latest nightly i wiped cache and dalvik cache then flashed the nightly build. Am i doing something wrong?
Can anyone let me know if i am updating correctly or know why androidos is killing my battery?

I went to advanced settings for wifi and turned it to "only when plugged in"

I has helped greatly with my battery, but now I have to toggle the wifi off and on to get it to connect when waking it from deep sleep. YRMV

I did as well for about 5 minutes, then I installed dolphin hd browser. Works like champ.
Yeah that was my "solution" too. It's a shame because the stock browser looks awesome and when it performs it does decently. Only other issue with is was I couldnt click the tab one back from the selected one.

This will sounds like a stupid question, but did any of the CM9 builds do anything to uboot or recovery?

I ask, since my Nook is running sneakpeak 2, but i wanted to update it to One of these nightlies. But after powering off, i can no longer get into CM9, recovery, nadda...

I can get the uboot menu, and tell it to boot recovery, but it never gets there. I can power it on, and try to let it boot normally, but it doesn't do anything either.

I am trying to find VG's CWM sd card, but till then, is there anything I did wrong? I haven't flashed the experiemental CWM, and i have tried booting with and without a SD card in...

Have you tried the ics+ browser from the market. It has more options (user agrnt ect)and feels more responsive to me.

The only issue I'm having with recovery is when I flash recovery from inside the program it says unsupported device and asks if I sideloaded it. I can still boot into recovery though and no other ill effects.

Yeah, i really cannot figure out what happened. Thankfully, i was able to make the bootable SD CWM, which let me flash the new nightly, gaps, etc.. and now it is booting (at least to CM9)

After more than a year, the nook never ceases to have fun with me. ;)

Apparantly Rom Manager changed the way it identifies your device and for some reason the nook color now shows up as an unsupported device. It's not on your end.

Hmm, anyone know if there is a way we can switch from MTP to normal mass storage mode, and vice versa? Thats a huge feature for me, as I can't use Calibre with it in MTP mode. Any ideas?
No, there is no way that I know of. It is a "feature" of ics. I also use Calibre and transfer my files by content server (wifi) within Calibre. I also use Calibre Library from the market, but you don't need to to use the server. Just use your browser. It really works slick.

You can reboot into recovery and mount as usb storage from there.
Assuming you are installed on emmc that is. Remember there is no CWM recovery on SD. If you are on SD and you use the boot menu to go into emmc recovery, I think it would mount the boot partition of your SD. Not sure of that though.
