Yes, FM radio works in this. Just don't forget your headphones to use as an antenna.

Installed your TWRP, wiped and flashed rom without any issues (16GB/2GB). Dude, Love you for the FM Radio. I have read this phone had the FM builtin, wonder why it was not present in the Amazon Rom v6.1 or OEM v12. Now I can listen to NPR and local 80's station!
- Seems like the Speaker Phone is louder! :good:
- Is there anyway to change the "BACK OUKITEL RECENT" on the bottom of the screen back to the original icons?

2. I to really didn't like that, so use to icons this messed me up at first. It is doable, but I had to use softkeyZ, a paid app, to change this.
3. The 8gb/1gb has everything else the same except for ram and flash, so it should just work, unless op says otherwise. However, the only way to be sure is to check.
Personally, I don't like the UI that much, much to loud for me, though I never stick with stock anyways, I love apex, plus lots of xposed stuff to change things. Still, with the radio, and being a easily modified base, this is much better then stock IMO. I had actually just flashed and finished setting up stock again when I saw this. Instant redo again, and well worth it.

Update, turns out FM also supports RDS! (Notice the DURAN text below the station number)

Edited: Scratch what I said earlier. This app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.simplyadvanced.ltediscovery, has a simple "you are in LTE" page. So, yeah, seems LTE is working, at least for me.
Never heard of RDS before. Is it metadeta for the station? Just station name, or also track names?

Yeah, think of it as metadata. Whats displayed depends what the radio station transmits. For example, 95.7 displayed above cycles through both the station name (95.7 BEN FM) and the song name (DURAN DURAN RIO).
EDIT: all of a sudden FM decided to stop working. It gets a signal but no sound is heard from the earpiece or speaker.
EDIT 2: FM working again, just had to mess with ViperAudio.

Installed Waze and Auto-rotate is no longer working. Uninstalled and still not working. Confirmed Auto-rotate is enabled. Wiped and still no workie.
Had something like this happen on my Mega 6.3 with CM about a year ago. Had to got back to a stock version.
I had this issue first time I turned the FM radio. closed it out and reopen to get audio working.

Installed Waze and Auto-rotate is no longer working. Uninstalled and still not working. Confirmed Auto-rotate is enabled. Wiped and still no workie.

Yes it did with this ROM. I recall rotating the Settings page to view all the labels.
O, crap, that's what you meant. I thought you were talking about how Waze's map rotates as you turn.
Yeah, have that problem as well. Sucks.
Just did, rotating just fine.
Seems like a nice app, I may keep it, we are driving, speed odometer is on the money.
Plus it showed us where next rest stop is.

Mine does not auto rotate either, but doesn't really bother me as I always lock mine in on portrait mode anyway.
I do also, but wanted to test rotating, works fine for me though, plus I have a new app to play with, Waze.
I use Google maps, never heard of this Waze map, seems good though.

1 . remove any and all lock pin or patterns on phone
2 . remove all google accounts (this is to clear the frp data)
3. factory reset phone
4. reboot to fastboot/ bootloader
5. issue fastoot oem unlock (appearently we all assumed that because the toggle switch was missing from developer setting it would not work,but it does if you have no accounts set up)

tested on 6.1
(update coming soon, testing on fresh update of 6.6)
test completed. I reverted my test phone back to 6.1 and then ota updated to 6.6, and was able to unlock bootloader again.
locked and unlocked several times before update and confirmed with "fastboot getvar all" locked and then unlocked.
Didn't flash anything at this point but did boot into twrp and install SuperSU.
Did try to flash boot img after I messed up with a test and it said no permission to write to boot. So don't know if this method is 100% or if what I messed up had something to do with it. But I did root while on 6.6 and then got back to old preloader and use of spft again after a restore .
this worked on my own phone that was unlocked before update. even though I re-locked before updating. The update re-applied an unlock and that is why it worked. Other tester who had out of box - update to 6.6 this did not work. Had to do with the Aug 2016 android security update. It must have fixed a hole in the ftp implementation. Maybe a newer way around frp way let this work again.

Auto rotation is not working for me either. I noticed while in MTK Engineering Mode under sensors there is not a Gsensor listed. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but when I googled the problem that was one of the top fixes.
I am not sure why it would work on my phone and not yours or others.
Does it work on stock ROM for you?
