Yes, FM radio works in this. Just don't forget your headphones to use as an antenna. You mean like FM radio? If so, then I will have to switch: ).

Is LTE working for you? Or is it just plain 4G?Thanks! :highfive:
Installed your TWRP, wiped and flashed rom without any issues (16GB/2GB). Dude, Love you for the FM Radio. I have read this phone had the FM builtin, wonder why it was not present in the Amazon Rom v6.1 or OEM v12. Now I can listen to NPR and local 80's station!
- Seems like the Speaker Phone is louder! :good:
- Is there anyway to change the "BACK OUKITEL RECENT" on the bottom of the screen back to the original icons?
PS
Does this work with the 8GB/1GB version?![]()
1. Plus it comes with Viper4Android, so you can boost it a bit more too.- Seems like the Speaker Phone is louder! :good:

Edited: Scratch what I said earlier. This app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.simplyadvanced.ltediscovery, has a simple "you are in LTE" page. So, yeah, seems LTE is working, at least for me.Is LTE working for you? Or is it just plain 4G?
Never heard of RDS before. Is it metadeta for the station? Just station name, or also track names?Update, turns out FM also supports RDS! (Notice the DURAN text below the station number)
Yeah, think of it as metadata. Whats displayed depends what the radio station transmits. For example, 95.7 displayed above cycles through both the station name (95.7 BEN FM) and the song name (DURAN DURAN RIO).Never heard of RDS before. Is it metadeta for the station? Just station name, or also track names?
I had this issue first time I turned the FM radio. closed it out and reopen to get audio working. Is LTE working for you? Or is it just plain 4G?
CRAP!!!EDIT: all of a sudden FM decided to stop working. It gets a signal but no sound is heard from the earpiece or speaker.
EDIT 2: FM working again, just had to mess with ViperAudio.
I never had auto rotate work with the R1 HD, I thought it was due to no compass. You had it working before?Installed Waze and Auto-rotate is no longer working. Uninstalled and still not working. Confirmed Auto-rotate is enabled. Wiped and still no workie.
Had something like this happen on my Mega 6.3 with CM about a year ago. Had to got back to a stock version.
Yes, mine works, always has.I never had auto rotate work with the R1 HD, I thought it was due to no compass. You had it working before?

O, crap, that's what you meant. I thought you were talking about how Waze's map rotates as you turn.Yes it did with this ROM. I recall rotating the Settings page to view all the labels.
Yes, mine works, always has.

Just did, rotating just fine.Install Waze and see if it breaks it.
Mine does not auto rotate either, but doesn't really bother me as I always lock mine in on portrait mode anyway.Just did, rotating just fine.
Seems like a nice app, I may keep it, we are driving, speed odometer is on the money.
Plus it showed us where next rest stop is.
I do also, but wanted to test rotating, works fine for me though, plus I have a new app to play with, Waze.Mine does not auto rotate either, but doesn't really bother me as I always lock mine in on portrait mode anyway.
Auto rotation is not working for me either. I noticed while in MTK Engineering Mode under sensors there is not a Gsensor listed. Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but when I googled the problem that was one of the top fixes.I do also, but wanted to test rotating, works fine for me though, plus I have a new app to play with, Waze.
I use Google maps, never heard of this Waze map, seems good though.
I am not sure why it would work on my phone and not yours or others.Auto rotation is not working for me either. I noticed while in MTK Engineering Mode under sensors there is not a Gsensor listed.
