You have to. It doesn't matter if you flash after or before it will boot but you can't connect to wifi or mobile data, Bluetooth etc.

I do not receive notifications on wifi from Instagram and Tiktok. If i switch to mobile data im getting flooded with messages. The problem is not my wifi everybody has no issues and its not slow either. I have 100mbps connection and i get around 5mbps download on mobile. Any suggestions?

Not possible for A11 to A12 in custom roms without format if I understand correctly.

Hi LatifSC! Thank you very much!! I really want to upgrade to this ROM...but from what I read here, there are still several bugs, right? And I use my cell phone to work...so I can't do it without or with connection problems, notifications, etc... Maybe soon

The rom has no issues with network. What im trying to say that you cant connect to anywhere if you dont update your firmware. Network works just fine. The only problems i have are the camera app and notification issue. Solved the camera by installing Nikita GCam 8.2.3 with RN8 config and it takes amazing photos but it doesn't have ultra wide mode which isnt a big deal. On notification side, i do receive every message on cellular but on wifi Tiktok and Instagram wont send me any notification but others do like WhatsApp.

I have a couple of questions. Does anyone know if:

• there's a functioning call recording solution that works with this rom or at least with some modern version of Android while being unrooted?
• it is somehow possible to enable a "double tap anywhere on wallpaper to lock screen" -feature in the rom's launcher?

Thank you again LatifiSC. It wouldn't be a problem for me. I use Whatsapp and I rarely take photos with ultra wilde mode. Right now I'm in doubt between this beautiful Rom and Arrow. I think it's best to try both.

I would be extremely careful about that, because you're essentially getting a paid service for free. Unlimited Photos storage is a perk for specific Pixel users; everyone else's Photos counts towards their Google Drive quota. Spoofing your device signature to mimic a Pixel means that you're receiving a benefit only intended for people who buy a Google branded device, which for all intents and purposes is stealing.
