I told you on 2.0 and 2.1. Then I lost interest and skipped 2.2. I came back to my S8 and updated to 2.3 and the DeX issue is still present, even with the official DeX Station. It does not work. It just gives a toast - "Can't start Samsung DeX.".

Cleared data of the apps, etc. Did not help. Also have not received any response about this, or acknowledgement, although I apologise if I have and just not noticed.

same here fresh install of 2.3 plug the phone into screen via usb c to hdmi or via the dex station and it displays "Can't start Samsung DeX"

Hi I just flashed the rom with the option "show data usage in notification panel". Now I don't want to see it anymore. Is there a way to disable it without reflashing? I can't find that option in settings nor in RICE tweaks.

Hi, does anyone have slow charging problems? I know it was mentioned a bit ago but they were on about the previous build, I was fine on that one and been running the latest for a week, but it says fast charging but still charges like it's not? Is this just me? Thanks in advance

Not sure if it's been mentioned before but is anyone else having video playback issues on the Facebook app?
Some (not all) are very stuttered, glitchy and almost unwatchable.

Automatic call recording is available:

Open contacts, then Open settings and there is the option to enable or disable automatic call recording .....

I figured out it has something to do with root. It first stopped working with 2.0 with "possible fix for lost root".

I flashed Magisk 14.2 zip or something over stock boot.img in TWRP and then DeX sort of worked.... well, once it loaded, you couldn't get out of it, and unplugging the phone resulted in DeX on the phone screen. It is absolutely tiny on the phone display.

But at the same time, the root became trippy again.

i believe i found the solution. you need to go into settings. turn OFF the fast charge option and then turn it back ON. it seems to be better now

I think you can just straight up dirty flash the newer version if you have an older version installed.

Edit: Nevermind, I found I was stuck in boot because I didn't have installed the newest Bootloader
