Are notifications fixed on Oreo? I've had this s8 sitting around for a while now not being used because nougat sucks, would be nice to get my money's worth out of it lol

my data connection damn slow! shows LTE+ but connection slow like dailup! Tried to flash again, choose other CSC but still same with damn slow data connection. Any suggestions? Opinions? Thank you.

Took the plunge, did a full FR, installed, and restored my apps using TBU..

So far no complaints, only issue is the RICE app keeps throwing an error when trying to update via the PlayStore.

Battery usage

Something very VERY scary happened. I flashed this ROM. Put it next to my bed and went to sleep. Woke up in the morning and the phone was BLAZING HOT and down to 6%. "Certain apps are overloading the CPU. Please Restart"

Please help. I dont want this to blow up :S

P.S : never had this issue on stock

Did you guys read the damn OP? It says tweaks will be ported (which means will work) after oreo becomes stable...

rom works and runs awesome so far. only issue i noticed so far is that i cant update rice app via playstore

But it doesn't crash or stuck on anything right???

i thought saying that it runs awesome would be easy to understand,

so yeah nothing stucks or crashes..its running super solid.

Flashed latest firmware on S8+, then tried dirty flash r17 over Renovate Ice 5.2, cleared dalvik & cache and everything works perfectly. No problems at all. Only thing is that rice tweaks don't show nightlies for Oreo Rom. I think this is normal behaviour!?

Hi all,

I did a clean install from renovate ice 5.0 and it works just fine... until i started playing around with app lock in the advanced features.
I somehow configured the app to be unlocked with pin and selected few apps. However, when i try to open the app that i locked, it only tells me that "app lock has stopped" and "app lock keeps stopping". I tried reinstalling the apps that i locked, but no luck still. Any advice?
