I'll try and see if it still the same after i wake the phone a little while.

Meanwhile got one random reboot while trying to browse using boat browser with wifi. Here is the kmsg
https://db.tt/a0lPjeAY
These are Watchdog barks, not random reboots. Watchdog detected that something hung the kernel and instead of leaving your phone frozen, Watchdog rebooted it.
Code:
[48710.450012] arch_reset: restart command `Apps-watchdog-bark-received!'.
These kinds of reboots can be caused by a number of userspace factors. Which ROM are you two using?

Ianoob, the stacktrace in your last_kmsg says that the kernel was commanded to reboot while trying to access your SD card.

Reddvilzz, seems that your reboot was caused by WiFi.

I use the carbon rom 25/10, any chance this will happened again in the future? Is there any thing i can do to fix it?

Use Ondemand. SmartassV2 is very aggressive.
Oh okay i'll try ondemand and see how it goes. Are the smartassv2 and ondemand have the same battery efficiency? I feel like using ondemand drains a bit faster.

It could be a problem with Carbon ROM itself or it could be because my kernel isn't used for building the ROM. The only ROM that's built around my kernel is my CM10.2 ROM; you can try that, or you can ask your ROM's maintainer to try using my kernel (again, I'm not sure if the problem is being caused by the ROM itself or the fact that the ROM isn't built around my kernel). I only use my ROM and I don't have these Watchdog reboots, so I'm not sure of exactly what's causing them for you.

Ondemand is probably going to drain your battery much less than SmartassV2...

I'll keep watch again and i will try and see the ondemand governor. If the reboots happened again i'll let the rom dev and you know about the condition.
Thanks :)

Your ROM, 10/18 version. I think I was trying to open Facebook when it crashed.
FYI, I found my battery drain. When the screen shuts off, both cores lock at a fairly high frequency. See the plateau in the screenshot.

Hmm actually it's probably happening because the ROM isn't built around my kernel. The default kernel in Carbon has a very old WiFi driver; the WiFi driver in my kernel is 1 year newer and I got it from Google's 3.0 kernel source.

What was your phone doing while the screen was off? I played music on my phone while the screen was off, fired up ADB shell, and saw that both cores were at 384MHz.

As for adding back 192MHz, I'll consider it.

Absolutely nothing as evidenced by the valleys in either side.
Thank you

It's working fine for me (all my other frequencies are being used)... If you're using a governor like Lagfree then it is normal for the CPU to be at max freq most of the time. Which governor are you using?
I'm using ondemand set to 1566mhz max. I'm on albinomans cm10.2 ROM but I would think its close enough to yours to avoid any problem like that. My battery life isn't any worse than before, if that counts, but I just think its kind of strange that ondemand is acting like performance gov with r44.5.

Random reboot.

Yesterday I experienced a couple random reboots on r44. I'm 99% sure that it was caused by my battery, and I've attached a battery screenshot to show why I think so, but just to be sure I attached the last_kmsg as a zip.

Also, the screenshot and kmsg were from directly after the first reboot, not the others.

It isn't the battery. A battery issue would cause your phone to shutdown without rebooting. Also, please upgrade to r44.5. Which ROM are you using?

Okay thanks, will do. I'm using the 10/25 build of Carbon.

And I have to say, aside from these reboots, this has been the best setup I've ever had on my phone!

BTW, where did you start learning how to build android? I want to, but don't know where to start. Also, I have windows 8, is Linux necessary?

The significance of this statement is about zero. There is no proove or whatsoever. What about partial wakelocks? Have you made observations in better battery stats? What is the screen on time? What is the awake time? What about the used cpu freqs? And so on...

Besides that, I can't confirm it and haven't made observations like yours.
i am merely stating my observation. chill. :D

i havent faced any random reboots but i have faced FC after 15 mins of playing Dead trigger 2..and i guess this is due to low RAM, as only 30 mb of RAM was available when the game FC on me. Everthing else works fine.

Damn i flashed the newest KANG ROM (28 oct) and the newest kernel and back is the flashing problem :(. When i use the flash on my camera the phone is rebooting again...even though i have +30% battery, 36% to be precisely. Hope you can fix that easily.

thanks
Someone help me out here? Its very annoying that after taking a picture the phone reboots :(
