Note: Benchmarks dont mean much of anything... but for those that were curious...

Kernal: Abyss Kernel 3.7
ROM: Rocket Rom v22
Clock: 1.66ghz (OVERCLOCKED)
Governor: Performance for benchmarking, lulzactive/on demand otherwise
Other Notes: things were smooth and battery was ok.. .

(on performance)
Quadrant: ~4900-5000
Passmark: 2,200

Kernal: Franco Kernal #1
ROM: Rocket ROM v22
Clock: 1.4ghz (NO Overclock)
Governor: On Demand

Quadrant: 5120
Passmark: 2400

Conclusion/Notes so far: Still need to test for a couple days but here are my initial impressions.
-Benchmarks: Franco kernal "won" at stock clock speed (@1.4 ghz, on damand)!, when compared to Abyss Kernel Overclocked (@1.66ghz, performance).
-Battery: I will need more time to evaluate this but in theory Franco's kernel should have better battery life due to it not being overclocked. As for Abyss, its battery life was good considering the overclocked and the slightly compromise in battery life (but was still pretty good).
-Real World/Performance/Experience: Abyss Kernel (overclocked) like most overclocked kernel's I've seen, it performs very well and tend to snap/load things faster (obviously). BUT, it seems that Franco Kernel tends to be overall much smoother and seems to not hang/stutter like many overclock kernels tend to do every now and then. Franco's may not load an app the fastest(by .2-.3 seconds, nothing huge) but seems to provide superb fluid transition, responsive and so far hasn't stuttered a bit. Basically the overall experience seems to be much better.

obviously more time is need to get a true sampling/evaluation... but for those that were curious. I definitely recommend, and already seems to be the best kernel (for me anyway) :)

Yep, I just flashed Mine. And Quadrant hit over 5000.

It's no big deal, mate, not my first bootloop, and I'm pretty sure it won't be the last either. You'll fix it, I'm sure.:)
My phone can't wake up after receiving a call.. Need to battery pull to on back my phone.

Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
yes me too..using crickelo v6. the screen wont turn on after receive calls, then I tried calling my phone again and there's a tone on the other end but my gnote doesn't ringing nor screen wake. weird.
same to u I need to pull my battery.
This is just a small report for the Dev. I've also used ur kernel on ns and love it. you'll fix it i'm sure. :)

i'm on criskelos' ROM v6 and installed it without a hitch.

Initially, the note feels a whole lot snappier compared to before (abyss kernel from v6)
been using DX Home as my replacement launcher and there has always been a stutter when transitioning from the last window pane, back to the first pane. It's good to know that the stutter has completely disappeared.

Opening the menu has been responsive, and no noticeable lags have been accounted.

Lovely work you did on the kernel, and i greatly appreciate it for improving the note and raising the bar higher.

thanks!

My phone just had a black screen issue.

Was looking at threads in tapatalk when it went blank and suddenly displayed correctly again. .

I'd like to really thank you for interesting to our device Galaxy Note

The only thing that stops me is you said u tested Note for hours... That's not the same as people who dev and test for devices always in their hands.

So, BUY a Note so you can help us all LOL :D

Kidding, I'm gonna test it hoping in no issues (as I readback), but I'm sure newer versions will be amazing in terms of stability

Thank Youuuu
