I'n not sure if it works because I dont have an USB OTG cable.
But I have a cable to connect to my Canon DSLR to control it.

Pretty sure you need to wait for the next update to this kernel for it to work with 3.0.2. 3.0.2 uses Sebastian's updated kernel source, this kernel doesn't yet.

This kernel is compatible with ViperS 3.0.2. The only change in Sebastian's kernel in 3.0.2 is that he fixed urBEATS which r3b4 of this kernel has. Try r3b4 with 3.0.2.
So, this kernel has all the changes as his 0.1.3 source he has up? If so, my apologies.

Not changes, it is one single change. That single change is that urBEATS was fixed; there are no other changes in 0.1.3. And yes, the newest beta of this kernel has the urBEATS fix.

Just to update you, I flashed this kernel for the first time today, first using the reset option in aroma, restarting and flashing the actual kernel. Worked like a charm.

The hotspot issue was due to the WiFi voltage increase and I'm sure the WiFi voltage increase was the cause of the phone shutting down when WiFi was turned off. Gonna add some higher CPU overclocking and some other stuff and I'll release a new beta.
Waiting for a fix... Can't use this awesome kernel because of cyclic reboots...
Do you have CPU overclocking automatically enabled on boot? If so, disable the automatic CPU overclock on boot and reinstall the kernel.

But phone has been rebooted after 30 min of use, booted normally again, after hour of use it hangs, I have removed battery, switched on and now cyclic bootanimation again...

My phone still not boot with your kernel again, I'm flashing 3.0.1-3.0.2 update to make it bootable.

Tonight I had a crash and did a full wipe with new install and he found my DSLR. So the host support does work in ViperS v3.0.2.
It doesn't in ViperS v1.6.3 so no or not fired enough configured "USB host app" in the ICS version. So wrong thread. Sorry!
