Are you able to successfully overclock your CPU to 1.944GHz with this kernel?

More testing! I imported a ton of display stuff from Code Aurora Forum so stuff like the MDP and frame buffer are much newer than before and I noticed that graphics became significantly smoother. It should also be compatible with AUO displays but just to be sure, I'm having you all test it. It is attached at the bottom of this post. If it boots and works then please comment on the graphics performance (i.e. if it became smoother or choppier).

i just flash it. it's become choppier and kinda a bit lag when scrolling the menu. not smooth like old kernel.

the kernel boots. But my audio problems remain. I'll try a new fresh install of the whole rom to see if the problem solves itself.

Edit: After fresh install an kernel install still same problems :(

The new test kernel is smoother for me, but since r1, seems the permissions are broke, I can't delete some system apps as well as can't edit the kernel scripts

Has nothing to do with the kernel... try a different file manager app. Also, when you edit kernel scripts, some silly text editors will say failed saving when it actually does save.

Could someone with an AUO panel please confirm whether on not the test kernel I posted on the previous page boots? The sooner I know if it's booting on AUO panels, the sooner the next version will be released :)
The latest kernel boots and works just fine on my AUO panel! The quality of the sound is much better! Great work!

Using System App remover to delete what's you want. I'm tried and it's worked.

Yes, it will be included :)

Right now I'm set to release within the hour unless I manage to merge even newer CAF code into the kernel

UPDATE: I managed to merge in some even newer CAF code for the MDP :victory:
UPDATE2: turns out I haven't added any CAF stuff (made a stupid mistake) but in the test kernel I posted there were still changes to vidc
