Dear @friedrich420,

thank you for your work :good:

just tried the kernel but have no data 4g,3g and Edge after several reboots and cache/dalvik cleans. WLAN and phone call is working.
Checked the APN settings. Everything seemed fine.

Restored to original kernel and data worked again.

Any ideas? N910F...

Greeting from Berlin, germany
Same here.
No data. Wlan is ok, but no data.
After flashing stock kernel, everything back to normal.

Will this work on the T-Mobile version ?
It works on the canadian version so probably yes. I just backed up and flashed it, if it didn't work id just restore my backup..no biggie.

Just make sure when you tell people to flash kernels for other regions, you also warn them that any issues they have are more likely related to that than their ROM or the kernel itself.

If you want some other region's kernel for your device, swap out the ramdisk from your stock boot.img and then add the changes from the custom one over the stock copy. At least that way you aren't blaming the kernel developer, the ROM builder, or your high school guidance counselor for issues that stem from using the wrong configuration.

FIXES:

1. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH MOBILE DATA (esp. 4g) after flashing the kernel:
-Disable mobile data then search all mobile networks.
Then reset all to auto and re-enable mobile data. Enjoy ;)

2. IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH REMEMBERING WIFI PASSWORDS

Grab build.prop
Look for entry "ro.secure.storage.support=true" and change to false

3. SCREEN MIRRORING FIX

Grab build.prop
- ADD THE FOLLOWING ENTRY
wlan.wfd.hdcp=disable
Did all of that. All works except for the mobile data. Tried it like 20 times now. Better go back to previous AEL version for now.

If you didnt go back to stock yet try this as simple as it sounds.. turn off mobile data and let your phone go to deep sleep (i.e. dont touch it for a minute). Reenable mobile data and let me know..

This is the most bizarre thing.. how can you lose mobile data on a kernel that had mobile data working just out of reflashing?? (its mostly a question to myself..)

I reflash your kernel to test it. It works. Data came back after deep sleep. I loose it again after reboot. Deep sleep again and it came back.
It's very strange.
