My guess would be Zen UI, however if I still owned the R1HD, I would suggest porting Elephone C1X, that's what I currently use on my Max, my Max port of Elephone C1X is on needrom.

I wish you all best of luck, R1HD simply didn't suit my needs, Max does.

I gave this a try,(I used the V6 version of already ported rom posted on needrom)
I never made a working port before, (still haven't lol)

I swapped some hardware lib files and used the boot.img (whole image not just kernel) from v17, and the build.prop from V17.

Recovery installed it and rom starts to boot but sticks on boot animation.

this is the list of libs i changed. Does anybody know what other files should be swapped?

Don't know if this was already addressed but when I try to flash the ROM it says that this ROM is for p6601 and won't let me flash. Help please
i think this one is because you need to use vampirefo twrp not lopestom's. the device name is diiferent in the two recoverys. and this rom was made to check the device name before installing.

Fixing camera problem

Could anyone that has this rom on their phone try to flash open camera and remove the CM-camera? it seems that this fixed the camera issue on other R1-HD roms

Unfortunately there is more to it than that. The open camera swap is just more stable than stock camera.
And changing the same list of *.so files in the /lib folder did not get camera up. so not the same
