We are very excited to announce the release of Paranoid Android Quartz, based on Android 10.

On the first launch, you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson, who teamed up with us again to create several beautiful pieces of artwork. Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose design stands for itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We also added further UI touches that we believe enhance the overall user experience. You can find all of the Paranoid Android wallpapers and many more in the Abstruct app, included in our builds.

Our builds are based on the Code Aurora Forum Android base, which is optimized for Qualcomm platforms and has a higher degree of performance, battery life, and functionality compared to the Android Open Source Project platform. The Paranoid Android team and contributors are focusing on squashing existing bugs, and implementing and improving features, performance, and stability. We are dedicated to providing a user experience with the stability that you can expect from stock ROMs with best-in-class performance and features to help you get the most out of your device.

    Few more bugs:

On occasion, upon selecting restart in the power menu, the phone just powers off instead.

Bluetooth devices are forgotten after restart : they disappear from the list and need to be re-paired every time. In addition, the icons for devices only show up if they feel like it (Bluetooth headphone battery should show when connected)

Wi-Fi speed has taken a hit. Testing on other phones and devices and comparing with rosy on miui eu, the speed is down dramatically causing buffering and other issues.(Have 100mbps down internet and testing on rosy gives me 5mpbs)

Interestingly enough, my rosy only charges when connected with a data usb cable. Power only usb cables do not charge the device even if the device shows that it is charging.

Again, thanks for the great rom. Hope to see OTA updates soon :good:

I fixed all of it leaving the wifi. Works just fine here tho will see. Would be appreciated if you provide me logs in private message.
Update will be coming up soon!

Quartz 4 is out! Happy flashing! :p

Personally I ain't a big fan of stock kinda roms because I prefer having customisation. That's the whole point of me going through all the pain in the ass unlocking bootloader and flashing roms.

But This time I thought to give a try to PA Q3.
    And Hey, I'm impressed.
This rom is soooooooooo smooth despite of having prebuilt GApps.
This is very surprising for a device which comes with SD450 and 2GB of RAM.
Infact I've never felt this amount of smoothness on any Q rom(Vanilla or Gapps build) for my device so far.
Kudos to @vishalcj. Awesome work brother ?

The rom is well optimized and I've not seen any shutter of lag so far. I've not tried gaming so far. (I ain't a gaming person anyway)
Battery backup has been good so far. Call Quality is very clear. Signal reception is great. Google ? also working very well (I use 6.2 version for main cam and for front cam B612 - Yes I like filters).

Though I've face minor issues such as google voice recorder isn't working. Can't update google dialer through playstore (it's not showing in playstore) but it's working fine. And I also feel that Sound from speaker is a bit low plus there is no sound control in stock kernel.
Hope to get them fixed in next build.

Once again, Great Rom, Great Experience.
Thanks @vishalcj for bringing this rom for our device.

    Adios, amigo ?
