Hello,
After updating to the latest version, I noticed in some instances the interface flickering, especially when viewing pictures (i.e. gallery apps) and the browser (I'm using Chromium). I can't really give you more information or a screen recording because it is somewhat random. Did something change in rendering configuration or something?

I'm on the latest May version and have also encountered something similar happen to me in every major app (Photos, WhatsApp, Telegram) which has any picture open in full screen. While the image is open everything is fine but when you slide the image down there's some jitters there.
Although this is a very minor thing and apart from it the rom works great in every aspect.

Gcam is perfect with xml from Tg group.
Android auto works great (wired and wireless both).
No app or system ui crashes anywhere.
Unlimited Photos backup is definitely a plus.
And every other major thing introduced in A12 or A13 is there working.

@ExactExampl Kudos to you on a job well done, been daily driving the rom since A12 and its flawless.

I'm actually glad I'm not the only one with the graphical jitters it doesn't impair the use of the phone, it's just a little disturbing to the eyes.

Gcam is perfect with xml from Tg group.

I've been having issues with the camera for a couple of months now (no image, just black, with some apps reporting an "unknown error"... I don't have logs right now, but I can collect some if you need them), I have to restart any camera app sometimes 3 or 4 times... I guess there is a fix for this? You mentioning a xml...

P.S. I don't have Telegram so I don't have access to the support group

Same with the camera issues,
I've also experienced these camera not opening issues, with gcam as well as Snapchat with error ' can't start camera, reboot to fix.' or something.
I don't exactly know how to reproduce this but have experienced these frequently now a days.

Issues experienced in camera apps: Gcam, Snapchat.
Graphical issues: open any image in google photos, try minimising it by dragging it downwards or sideways and you might experience something.

Which network type and carrier are you using?

idk the network type, it says “H”. the carrier is NTT Docomo (IIJmio)

Try to change the preferred network type under the sim settings. Also you might want to try to change sim slot and see if that works (in case you have dual sim variant).

Try changing the sim slot as mentioned by the dev, or you can set the network to "LTE only" in edit APN settings menu.

If this doesn't solve it give it a good old reboot.
Still if the problem persists then dirty flash the rom again using the recovery via adb sideload and this should solve your problem.

I think this was added in A12 by google for it to maintain a continuity with Monet, it might not be possible.

Maybe you can try custom boot animations using Substratum or magisk, but I'm not sure if they'll work or break something in the build leading you to bootloop.

Although it never hurts to try, if some problem arises you can always dirty sideload the rom to bring it back to normal.
