"aries" instead of "leo"
I'm not sure if its a issue with the ROM or recovery, but my Z3's codename for some reason changed to "aries" (Z3c).
I've been on Slim before, updated to Slim 2.4 via full clean install and decided to goto CM12.1 again, there I noticed in the recovery it said that my device is aries.
Any solution for that or reason?
ROM itself is amazing, great work dev!

As you can see are not very practical. Please can you tell me what you mean by basic rom, and possibly where can I download it?

1. Why is there only a OTA Version for z3compact if i click on the Link in the z3 Thread? And is this Version only a small Update of the Changes? Dont know why it is called OTA.
2. Why is still RecRoot V1 used by Slimm and not V4? Any reason?

ROM Lag
I seem to be experiencing entire OS lag and delay. From opening apps to loading pages, it seems slower than Sony's default ROM.
Does this have to do with the CPU customizations or something similar? Is anyone else noticing this?

The base rom is in the second post my God it's juz there man. Install the Ota only if u are on SLiMM.

I think the reason could be because @Wajk ported the rom from z3c as he only has z3c. Perhaps I guess u can install another rom such as Pandemic's Amaluna rom then go to cm12.1

Actually I think recroot version doesn't really matter as it gets the function done. For the Ota version perhaps @Wajk may have made a mistake but rest assured it is for our Z3

I'm sorry to tell you that the play service bug is back. With over 3hrs of DOT play service is the most battery killer.

Yes, i can switch between many backups/versions also with lollipop, and indeed its not snappy anymore.

Ive been using Slim since 1.6 and Ive been very happy
But with recent updates, the overall performance has dropped, like the whole OS is struggling
Now my normal method of updating is OTA, I do believe obviously a fresh install will make it much better, but I cant keep fresh installing for every update, that's the problem Im facing
Can someone please confirm a smooth operation with a fresh install of 2.4

I had the same issue, but I cant remember how I solved it lol
But I think to install CM, you need a certain type Recovery, so just try different recdoveries one will work
Cause i know the normal one we use states the phone is aries not leo
But CM is boring on Z3, so I came back to Slim
My main problem with Z3 was overheating that was a problem especially with camera then dont let me shoot more than 3/4 photo's at time when phone was hot...very annoying! Weird was that on other app overheatong wasnt so problematic....maybe solved? I'm still on 2.2 since cant update until next week...

I can't do miracle. This releated to Android. I can't made universal ROM for every user with same performance and battery life.
It's only typo, don't worry about it. Just use it.

Dont know how, but i have two z3. Both have lags and feel after some time sluggish. Also removing all modules etc. does not fix it. older versions that i have runs smooth.
