Now the guy above replied with the positive response. You can push the commit which will be very helpful for Jio users or any other 4G only carrier.

I believe VoLTE calling in roaming is a wide bug in many custom rom but not only limited to JioIND, Jio is PAN India 4G only network thus we won't get call or texts if VoLTE not working, if its any other Telecom operator you'll be swiftly switched to legacy 3G/2G when call comes. But in Jio calls won't work if VoLTE thing is messed up.

Now if the first APN i mentioned is quite simple
Name- ims
APN- ims
APN type- ims
APN protocol- IPv4/v6
APN roaming protocol- IPv4/v6
leave the rest things like mcc, mnc etc. to earlier default value which will automatically show up provided the Telecom SIM card you have in the phone.

the second APN wasn't necessary it will be automatically created after the phone boot up depending on the operator SIM card.

Screenshot of IMS APN

so the first APN (ims) is fully missing?
meaning it's not there at all by default.

I can't name it ims. it's to generalized. won't pass code verification.
will have to be named something like "ims jio".
however I don't know how the auto selection of the ims is set.
will have to check when I have some time. but I believe it doesn't simply look for the name. so it should be possible.

I can't agree. Open Camera has been getting worse and worse with every update. It used to work perfect in an old version of Open Camera. Especially related to API2.
With the latest version of Open Camera when you switch to API2 you no longer even have Video resolution settings except 720P recording which is a joke and the recording on API1 now have micro stuttering when doing pan-scan recordings.

While snap (stock camera) is perfectly smooth on pan-scans using api2 even at [email protected]

But I do agree on the exposure issue. It should be +1 as default setting for exposure.

How are you getting [email protected]? In no camera app I've tried can I shoot fast frame rates at higher than 720 resolution, and in this ROM it seems I can't shoot high frame rates at higher than 480p.

my mistake I meant [email protected] not 60fps.
snap = smooth as a baby skin on pan scans
open camera = choppiness on every record no matter if internal or external memory

Iam also using magisk snap cam with los14.1(camera2api preenabled I think so) but in settings there is only panaroma option and no slow Mo, fast Mo, manual. Is there any way to enable those features ? And how to disable camera2api in los14.1 in build prop....?

This is no longer supported since the device is receiving LineageOS 15.1 official builds

Some update on 15.1 again, everything is working with treble and VNDK enabled but runtime linker isolation disabled. With the right SELinux policies, no functionality loss happens so I will merge the treble related commits soon.

I just still need to test a clean install for any issues and SELinux denials and test VoLTE before official builds start. I'll be sending a build to a few people in the next days probably

Some update on 15.1, everything is working but treble is kept disabled for now, as it "breaks" fingerprint gestures, glove mode and some livedisplay options. It can be enabled later when I find some more time to look into the issues, but let's not make it a blocker to ship official builds.

I just need to test a clean install for any issues and SELinux denials and I need someone to test VoLTE. My life is getting busier during summer at work, but now I use kuntao as daily driver again to spot any potential issues.

Offline alarms being broken is a known issue on cm-14.1 for all devices. Attempts to fix it have been made, but they are all incomplete and at this point nobody works actively on cm-14.1. It's not supported at all on lineage-15.1 at the moment, because codeaurora changed their implementation again (they do it on every single version :( )

Good news is that I have lineage-15.1 in a pretty good shape with almost everything working. Now I'm just working on updating whatever proprietary files are possible to oreo version from other 8953 devices, need to rewrite SELinux policy and maybe experiment with treble using /preload partition as vendor before shipping official builds. Sources will be on gerrit as soon as I cleanup my local mess.

Some update, I spent the past few days working on kuntao and now I've pushed all my device sources to gerrit, kernel to staging/lineage-15.1 branch as usual and proprietary files at my github.
I have kuntao booting with 'preload' partition used as /vendor, enabled full treble and fixed everything to compile with BOARD_VNDK_VERSION := current (although I have runtime linker isolation disabled at the moment).

Everything works except NFC (which worked before enabling full treble), wrong BT/WiFi MAC addresses and I didn't test VoLTE because it's not supported in Greece. I'll keep trying to figure out NFC and MAC in the next days, but the bringup looks more promising than I thought, I hope our old blobs won't cause more issues with treble that I haven't seen yet.
