So you use in latest lineage version here another kernel witch is working fine and you have no issues with your display?

Can you guys try out this kernel? It's original cm-12.1 kernel updated for nougat. I was using it when fixing cam, but I need to check battery performance on deep sleep. It really sucks now and I have no idea why.

It seemed a bit better, but I need to know for sure.

Just select flash image in twrp and then boot partition.

Hi guys,

I'm back. With bad news.

I was in Italy, climbing ferratas and then I was using navigation on my phone, it worked fine. Then I put my phone into pocket as I was doing all the time. Till now it seemed alright, but then I put it out... and there were a lot of cracks on screen and touch was crazy.

So my phone now doesn't work and I'm thinking about buying a new phone, because screen replacements are expensive (half a price of used z1) and it's a lot of work to change it.

I would recommend you to glue a new screen on ur old frame not to build all parts from your phone to this new frame. Its much easier. When you put all parts to the new frame you have a big chance to destroy something. When you buy just a screen you just need to disconnect some cables and u can directly replace you speaker it's just glued it has no cable. Heat up you old screen and place the new one. Connect all cables back. I've done this with just a little experience with a tutorial and I've done a perfect job in one hour. (Heat up the glue before you place your back cover and screen back).

(With the new Kernel your latest version of rom is working on my fake screen)

Oh man, I was crying while reading your post. So sad, that this happend. Since you are the only dev for our Z1, I already saw my Z1 dying due to missing support too.
So, please please try to get a cheap replacement (screen / device) to be able to continue making the Z1 "great again". You (and the guys involved) already did an outstanding job on getting Nougat run on the 3.4 Kernel with stock quality camera, and I would be really really happy to see offical LOS weeklies as a result of your hard work!

Fantastic ROM, everything works as far as I can see. Great daily driver, nice and smooth running on the old guy. Nice to see the camera is fully functional too, only thing I've ran into is that the Snapchat app keeps force closing no matter what I do. It's only this app that is doing it and since it uses the camera heavily, I was thinking it may be a problem with that? Like, every other app works fine, and the problem with it doesn't persist on my other 7.1.1 device.

I have problem with echo in call on this ROM. Partner hears himself in echo. Also i can't disable LTE. When i choose WCDMA only anyway LTE works.

upd: echo fixed(change parametrs in mixer_paths.xml)
