Everytime I try to set Security lock of any kind ( Pattern, password, pin), the system hangs after that. After a reboot the screen is locked and when I punch in the password/pattern i just set before, it hangs again.
Its repetitive.
Any help ?

That's a problem on all the Titan Oreo roms.....when you set it the first time wait it out.... after that it will work fine

One more question, due to the known issue where app hangs when setting up the pattern, now I am unable to unlock the phone

NVM

I deleted locksettings.db from data/system and able to remove lock

It lags when I open app drawer and notification bar or quick setting....except this problem its a great ROM.
Developer should fix this. I am waiting ....

Sadly you gotta wait longer idk how long exactly but it will go thru....I'm afraid it's a problem we have to face for now

If this ROM is to receive new updates in the future, I would like you to make some changes to the kernel settings, overclock and increase the frequency, the maximum the kernel offers is 1190 MHz.
