No, this was a clean install from scratch. It started failing the first time I pressed next after the initial boot, while trying to set up the basic settings. Every time I would try to advance, it would fail.

I got to the launcher main screen eventually, and it looks great. Just Play store won't start, so can't install anything.

Going to dig into the the "Guide Ride - From a Newbie to a Dev" in the Development and Hacking forum and start teaching myself about more than just flashing the odd ROM or two. Want to be able to give back to the community.

I used to do a little Python programming 6-8 years ago, but Java and Android are a different animal. :silly:

Mobile network is not supported. only wi-fi

I checked... and my p601 works as p600, without the support of mobile communication even after installing lastest kernel 2.0 and full wipe after and before.

I think phone and messages apks also not included in this rom

There will be a separate rom for P601 somewhere this week....

Any chance you would be interested in making an AOSP ROM? Bindroid is treating me just fine but I really miss CM. Maybe the community could rally some money to support your efforts? Thoughts?

Wow. When I got my note 2014, I was honestly a bit disappointed with all the lag. Your rom, has made me device the device that I WANTED to pay almost 600 dollars for. Don't think this rom will ever leave my tab. Thank u for all your work, and will be making donation this Friday when I get paid. Thanks again for all your hard work.

Not a stupid question at all but in 2 different installs, i don't even recall that being an option so I guess i figured they were baked into the rom. Might have to try the install again I guess

I can't recall for sure but im sure it asks to tick which ones you want to remove. Read it carefully when trying again. Let us know how you get on bro

Since installing this rom, my pen Window has stopped working. When I try to draw the Window it just moves my page around.

They are all working for me other then when you go into snote or samsung videos and try and add a samsung backup account. App force closes this is with everything install via aroma. I believe a Lib or Apk is missing in regards too the samsung account side of things. When I get time I am going to go through rom

I'm loving your work on the kernel and this ROM and figured you might pull of port to the 10.1 - 2014. I don't want to be pushy but just wondering if it can be done. The hardware is pretty similar but maybe the bootloader for 4.4 is different?

Not worth the try and port, by the time I'm done, the release ours
