strange am using substratum and it gives no errors. contact your developer of substratum asking him to look into it if you absolutely need it. or use something else. or find out which app causes the error and don't apply substratum over there.
don't use substratum for that and done, and contact the developer this is not rom related

Before posting your problem, use the search in thread function to find your answer yourself, since chances are we have already answered it before.
I might be alone with this issue but I currently use two sim cards with the second one for internet. I get dropped connection 15 minutes or so and it still says it's connected and there's no download from the traffic arrows. It is not a bad connection because I live near one and usually have a connection of 3/5 or better. I don't know if any logs would help for this and I don't even know how to get logs properly.
The way I fixed this (temporarily) is to disable the data, re-enable it and go into settings. Somehow opening the settings app doing this from within the settings app is the only way to fix this.

Try switching 'Preferred network type' from LTE to 3G. Not sure if this will help but still u can give it a try.
becoz i m having issue with battery as well as camera is not working on this rom i mean it lags and also random swtch off issue exist
HAL3 was never supposed to work optimally in the first place. You were warned well in advance by Silesh of this possible issue. Switch to the normal version or switch ROMs.
If you plan on reporting something, follow the format in OP. Verbal comments like these doesn't help accomplish anything useful.

As @1chrome has said, you need to provide proper logs. about battery, you need to show us more details. i get around 2.5 sot on heavy usage(constantly listening to music, whatsapp, facebook, youtube, etc). the snapdragon 617 gets heated up a lot, so you can't have very high expectations to begin with. Anyways, download a paid app called betterbatterystats(i don't know of an alternative free software) and give us the details from there.
now coming to camera, camera(if you are using moto camera flashed via zip file), is not perfect in any custom rom, for that shift back to stock rom. for other camera apps tell us what you are using and we can check. however if you still think you have some extraordinary error, post your error in the way mentioned in the op with logcats(how to take them is also mentioned). about reboot, actually i too faced them yesterday and then it went into bootloop, so i just nandroid backed up the data while the phone was in bootloop, restored a previous version of the rom via nandroid backup, got starting and recovered the data via titanium backup pro version!! if what @1chrome says is true then it could have been for hal3. if you face too many such errors, go back to non-hal version or give proper logs and stuff

I am using HAL3 version too, i have a question, are you facing sometimes a sort of delay when you unlock your device?
Normally when i leave my device on a table (or any flat surface) when i try to unlock it is not instant, takes like 2 o 3 seconds, also sometimes i have to touch the fp/power button again for finally be able to unlock the phone.
This "bug" is not happening all the time, just when the CPU enter into deep sleep (that is what i suspect). Due to the nature of this "bug" i could not take logs.
I am on last HAL3 version, stock kernel, without system modifications (only Magisk).
Just a suggestion: Do you changed some kernel settings? That behavior can be due to other governor settings(conservative governor forces wakeup delay for example).
Thanks for your response. I only changed the min value of the big cores (big cluster) running from 1 to 2. That's the only change that i did.
I installed last ElementalX to see if the behaviour remains and unfortunately, yes, still remains.
Now i'm downloading the normal version of Invicta without HAL3 to see if this weird behaviour still persist on my device. (i am going to do a complete clean flash).

Please read the help thread before you point out issues here. It has been created specifically to help new users to adapt to custom roms easier. Before you post your issue, please check if it has already been reported and if a fix has already been mentioned.
When you post a bug or mention an issue, it is assumed that you are running no additional mods that could cause that bug/issue. If you have made any additional changes, you need to mention that when you mention the bug/issue, else it confuses all users and I waste time looking to a bug that doesn't even exist. (1,2,3) is a classic example of this.
I have given in to frequent complaints of volume being too low on this rom and have restored it to the values found in other roms. That said, I will be in no way responsible if you hurt your ears as a result of the high volume. You have been warned.
Plus users take note. You need to be running an N modem to fix fingerprint issues.
Reliance Jio users, take note. Jio needs mobile data to work. If you change mobile data to a different sim in a dual sim environment, Jio sim will deactivate itself. Its not a bug.
Use Cameringo or builtin snap camera to record video. Video recording with Moto camera doesn't work. HTC camera seems to work the best.

- Flash/Install Gapps of your choice ( smallest package recommended )

App restore using hypershell in Titanium backup doesn't work. Data restore works. Works from v4.14.
Reporting Bugs
You are allowed to report bugs only in this thread.
- Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
- If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
- If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Useful information
- Some users have reported that they are unable to share screenshots/images from the gallery or filemanager. Though I personally have not come across this issue, if you do have this issue, have a look here for a possible fix.
- Please make sure that your DPI under Settings->Display->Display Size is set to default, else motorola camera doesn't seem to work. Users of model xt1622 who have reported camera issues also check if you have made any changes to your dpi. Thanks to @zeomal for pointing this out.
- For app sharing applications like xender,shareit etc.. to work, you need to disable mobile data. Check this post.

First step towards getting InvictaO is done. Compiled a lineage-15.0 build.
Next is to see if it boots, it not get it to boot, then bug fixes and finally adding back all Invicta features. Lot's of work ahead.63An update on O.
I have finished all the base work for the ROM. I can add features when required.
I can now concentrate on fixing the device side. Except camera and a couple of FC's(Bluetooth only the first time you boot and MotoActions when you receive calls because of a proximity sensor issue), its performs OK.63Update on InvictaO

Most of the important stuff still doesn't work like RIL, data, gps, camera & fps. Audio, video playback, fm, sensors, bluetooth, vibrator & wifi (partially) are working. Moto actions works too.
