Digging up an old thread...might help others with the same frustrations I had.

I remember using this ROM series back when I first got the sensation, had honestly forgotten about it till I wanted a clean sense based ROM again, used ROM cleaner on a few of the current builds but never really happy with how they turned out and always found issues that bothered me..only versions I could still find were 1.3 and patched to 1.31. Updated the kernel to Sebastians, flashed the newer opengl drivers on baseband 3.33, put the files back in for the sense keyboard, flashed the sense 4 theme for keyboard and this thing still kicks ass like no ones business. If your looking for a clean, fast, sense based ROM, even after all this time this ones worth a long hard look.

Any of the sense based kernels will work. I have been using Sebastians latest kernel, that with the newer opengl drivers updates this nicely.

I played around with this ROM for a little bit. A lot of nostalgia as it was one of the first ROMs I flashed for this phone in October 2011.

The ROM includes Faux123's Kernel 29. Let's just say that new ROMs have a lot to learn what speed and multitasking means. 8 apps were run simultaneously without 'restarting' and task switching was extremely smooth. As far as feature set and the interface, I am going back to 4.3.1.

Yeah GB system uses very little ROM comparing to ICS and others; my brother has an android-based JXD gaming device with 512MB RAM, and when we installed a custom GB, we minimized Beach Buggy Blitz and the device was alive without an issue...! Daaaamn, my phone has more RAM and on Sense JB ROMs I was hardly able to even play that game! :-O

That is while running RR3 normally is tough for the same device when it is running ICS.

Android RAM management is screwed up.

Agreed! Great features are being added at a cost of making old devices irrelevant because they do not have RAM. I think it is screwed up because the coders don't have to worry about RAM constraints on new devices as much because the hardware is improving greatly. Modern phones already have 2gb or 3gb of RAM.

If you decide to come back to ICS, JB, or KK, you must have latest 3.33 firmware.
