SlimLP Android 5.1.X

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.

SlimLP is currently in alpha / beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future

This is not stock SlimLP this is a custom version designed by @ezio84 some of the changes/features are the following:

Telephony: Non-intrusive InCall UI switch
Turn off "Mobile data" and "Data roaming" by default
SystemUI: fix keyguard charging text not showing 
Let the user switch from aosp to Google webview and viceversa just installing or uninstalling the app from playstore (ps: aosp webview bundled with the rom is the rock solid choice at the moment)
Display cursor buttons in navigation bar while typing
Screen Recorder
Slim Global Menu (power menu configuration)
Advanced reboot/power tile
BootMessage: Show each app name being optimized during boot
Dialer lookup
Blacklist:
Add htop task manager (you can run it in the terminal)
DeskClock: Add option to hide AlarmClock Icon in StatusBar
Remove the useless persistent plugged headset notification
Heads up advanced configuration
DeskClock: Add back flip and shake actions
Set "Prevent accidental wake-up" to off by default
Add back quick sound mode switch in the notification tile
Built-in Terminal app
Materialize volume panel in/out animation
Proximity speaker
DocumentsUI: Add a standalone File Manager
Custom System Tools Menu in Settings
StatusBar Ticker
Partition information menu
Full switch to CM AudioFx and Eleven
Higher dpi value (=stock-20)

One other question, is the dark Slim option implemented already? I really hate the ugly white material design

Mine is using my common repo so it will support the new ramdisk format for the flashable version of deathly. Mine also has less thermal throttling which will be raised in the next build.

So either this SLIM or liquid smooth shall be my first custom ROMs on the tab S Just that the last LS (from the 20th) has obviously Wi-Fi problems... . Will probably go then for SLIM tonight... .

I do not have time to keep an updated thread.
I've sent the local manifest to @deadman96385 so the rom is the same, you can flash on my build without wipe data.

If you want dark can use Layers Manager and TRDS

For some reason I'm unable to edit the line to change the minimum GPU frequency. I've tried several Root Explorer type apps and they all give me the same error even though they have been granted SU permission and root in on in Developer Settings..

"Root Explorer was unable to read this file. Please check that your device is rooted correctly and that access has been granted at the SU prompt."

Edit: I had to download the CM File Manager App to get it changed. It still says "Operation Failed" when trying to save it but it still works.
