PLEASE READ BEFORE FLASHING!!!

1. You will get the best experience if you flash the latest bootloader and modem via odin before
flashing the rom

2. A clean flash is required!!

3. If you get a message on 1st boot that "system is not responding", just reboot and you will
be right away back to normal

4. Unfortunately i still havent managed to get Viper4Android working...
The option is there in the Echoe Extras but its useless (for now)

3. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. USE CUSTOM RECOVERY
Note: As you know flashing any custom Rom will void your warranty and raise your knox warranty counter to 0x1
2. Make Sure that in Settings/General/Security the option "REACTIVATION LOCK" is unticked!!!
3. Make a FULL NANDROID BACKUP!!! (That includes Backing up your EFS)
4. DOWNLOAD Echoe Rom from one of the links above. Put either into internal or external SD Card.
5. In Recovery, Wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache, and Wipe data/factory reset and then Install Zip (from either external or internal SD depending on where you chose to save the Rom)
6. The installation process takes between 3-5 minutes. Let it do its job Also the 1st boot also takes 3-5 minutes. I would also recommend that before the initial setup, you dont do anything to your phone for 5 minutes... Let it settle and then proceed with the initial setup... That's just my usual ritual with any Rom I flash
7. Reboot and Enjoy Note: If in Recovery it ever asks you to "Fix Root" PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PRESS NO!!!
8. If by any chance you have any issues with LTE, do the following:
Using Root Explorer or an analogous app go to data >property>persist.radio.lteon.xml open the file in Text Editor and change the value to true. Save and Exit and Reboot

1. Lockscreen Shortcuts:

You need this app

Open the app and search for settings
(Hopefully) you will see the following:
com.android.settings

scroll down till you find the following line
/com.android.settings.lockscreenshortcut.LockScreen ShortcutSettings

Choose and tick this, now you can rename it to shortcuts (or anything similar) and push try or ok.

ATTENTION: THIS ONLY WORKS WHEN YOU CHOOSE SWIPE TO UNLOCK

What base are you on my friend?
The "virgin" boot of Echoe v.1 was done after a dirty flash but base was the stock MJ3...
If you do wipe cache and dalvik cache...

If you dont feel it as fast as it should, then you probably need a clean flash...

Press no if it asks you to fix root
