thanks bro.. I tried to make it as general as possible. Since the dev does not respond and noone on that forum knows how to do it, I thought of asking another dev elsewhere.. I apoligize for asking here.

Do you have this lines in other.xml

Please read OP this ROM HAS BEN DISCONTINUED AND IS NOT SUPPORTED BY THE DEV ANYMORE..

For a quick solution just download wifi manager from playstore.
Select known sources and you should see the one you want to get rid of. Click on it and select forget. Boom! !! It's gone.
Not sure why it cannot be done from normal settings but this will fix it.

So go and add these lines to other.xml

if you read my original post, I mentioned that I already tried wifi manager and was able to remove it.. but once the phone reboots, it shows up again... it also shows up again if I turn wifi off/on.

Thanks for the suggestion.. I hadn't realized that Tmobile already has the Lollipop update..so I got the official Tmo version last night and all is good

He has his own forum now on echeo creation....

If search this thread you`ll read his reason for leaving...
This is one of main reasons for leaving this forum people just don't search threads before posting and don't read post correctly before replying....

the echoe site has been around awhile...ive been visiting it quite a bit.

And yes we are all aware (or should be) why he left, it sucks and his presence will be missed here.

A great developer and more importantly a great person.

even in your attempt to say something nice you insulted me twice.. read your post 5 more times and then ask yourself "why are these people keep leaving us?" Maybe you'll eventually get a clue...

The petty arguments and "pedantic" tone used by some members are why devs are giving up with XDA. I've known the echoe team for a while now and persistent demands and 'I want, I want" behaviour on these boards is becoming ridiculous. Add to that the sudden bouts of anaphylactic shock experienced by users of the search facility is also becoming a joke.

XDA started as a board for Devs to display their wares. Now, it's a free for all for 'low post' warriors demanding someone sort their problem when it's blatantly obvious they can't be arsed to read the OP!! These boards are now becoming known as the 'shouty' or 'angry kid' boards. If you removed all of the inane posts, where the search facility has obviously been ignored, the OP not read and those making demands of Devs ( who do this in their own time ), threads would be more manageable, more informative and more pleasant to use. The Echoe team have always been approachable and helpful, unfortunately XDA seems to be losing it's way

Oh and to top it off, there are posts in this thread from people wanting help with someone elses rom!!! Jeez.... No wonder Friedrich and the gang got fed up!

If you need help with v23 headover to echoe website and join in!! We don't bite, but just remember, you will need to help yourself first by reading the info available. Requests or demands are not met with enthusiasm although sensible requests may be researched for inclusion of future releases.

There are very few issues with v23 echoe. Use the search button....... Have you been searching? You say you have some bugs the NEED fixing.....

Another reason the dev left.........

Thanks but no thanks....yes I checked searching this thread and the bugs I'm talking about here are minor bugs to which I wanted to draw the devs' attention.
I think that's what XDA is for. People using the ROMs and sharing their experiences to further fix issues and contribute towards a more smooth bug-less ROM.

Really sad to see a great Dev leave, but I don't blame him. For a long while XDA threads everywhere are just getting polluted with non posts a classic example is the Xposed thread for LP. If you want some cringe worthy drama reading head over there. But back on topic, I have always enjoyed this Rom, and it's thanks to this Rom that I discovered that my variant of the Note 3 could flash other roms. Long story short I didn't read instuctions on a certain app, and installed and found my phone in constant bootloop. Couldn't find a stock Rom for my device at the time and after some research, found that some users of my model could flash this Rom and have no issues with it. Lo and Behold. It worked.

I will be the first to admit though, that I'm not a fan of TW. But this one was always fanastic for me and the Dev very resposive to the people here, regardless of whether the posts were benign or not. But I guess there comes a time when you can only take so much. And hats off to dev for putting up so with so much.

For new users of this Rom (that bother to read anyways), if you can't find the answers here, go the echo forums and you will find your answers there if you search. SEARCH is your friend, here or on any Forum. I will admit for myself, the XDA apps search leaves a bit to desired, but then there is always a desktop most people have access too do do such searching.

So after a long post, I just want to say thanks to the Dev. The Rom IS NOT DEAD. It's found a new home though. Keep up the awesome work. You will be missed here on XDA. But not forgotten that is for sure.

Friedrich420 first off, I wanted to say thanks for all your work on this great ROM. Somehow, I stumbled across it in my noobishness and luckily found a great daily driver. Even though we only exchanged a few mails, you were always very professional and polite to someone who definitely had more questions than answers. That was very much appreciated.

And if I ever said anything that rubbed you the wrong way, please know that it was not my intention and I apologize for it after the fact. I for one am sorry to see you leave here, but I'm glad that you will continue your work on ECHOE ROMs in your own place and on your own terms. I will go to your ECHOE site and continue to follow your work with great interest.

Thank you! Thank you! I know as a DEV it's probably something you don't hear enough and that is a shame due to the bad apples with a huge sense of entitlement. I say this to you with the utmost sincerity and look forward to all the great things you will continue to do in the future.
