Been thinking of trying 12.1 but im Courious, whats better about 12.1 over 14.1 besides the front cam?
Performance?
Will i need to patch anything like headphones or codecs?
Could you check roblox and see if its laggy?

Another thing I found.
Google Assistant Voice Match cannot be enabled with 14.1, so voice command not working.
It's working fine with 12.1 for when screen on.

I have a 8th gen fire 10
rooted with this rom
It has a chip in the back housing and volume + button doesnt work since installing this rom.
I want to sell it since I dont really need a rooted tablet anymore. Feels like a waste when many are looking for a capable device.
Feel free to PM me if any one wants it.
MODs if I've done something wrong i'm sorry please point me in the right direction.

Are there any ROMs that have full functionality for the latest Fire HD 10? I used this previously and had issues (or the tablet stopped working properly) unfortunately headphones not working is a bit of a dealbreaker

Here is my take on this.

12.1 seems to be missing a lot of apps that I use. My bluetooth also crashes within the 1st few hours after a reboot.
14 seems to have everything that I need working except video. Since it's software encoded it's terribly choppy at best.

I am considering just dumping it at this point since I have issues on each version

Which Google Pixel? Im coming from 14.1 cuz i need the camera but i still cant get safetynet to pass. Tried Samsung tab and google nexus 9 (both options, fingerprint and basic attestation) since they match the OS. I'll try pixel c and see how it goes next.

Edit: For cryin out loud. I didnt have MagiskHide on.....now it passes safteynet with pixel c 6.x.

Edit2: Does anyone know which fingerprint is the most effective? I still am not able to download Disney+ from the appstore. I've tried aptoide but it failed to play. Netflix and other video players are playing and i thought OXM was fixed at the ROM level but do i still need to patch that as well?

Edit3: Aiight, Nexus 9 does work. It musta been that i hadnt turned on magiskhide when i tested that fingerprint out. Im all good now!

Chabge fingerprint to Pixel 4 XL and go to device simulation and check Brand, Manufacturer, Model
Remember that xposed blocks safetynet check if you use it

When there are two users on tablet there is no option to disable screen lock. Is there any way to disable it when there are two users?

Initial Installation
- Enter TWRP
- Enter wipe option
- Format Data
- Then swipe to factory reset
- Copy the ROM to your device
- Copy optional zips like gapps and magisk to device if required
- You also have the option of using micro-g framework
- Flash ROM, then optional zips
- Reboot
- And Enjoy

Hello ggow, so I read your instructions and what I don't get is how do I copy the ROM to the Fire after doing the "swipe to facory reset"? I mean, the Fire will still be in TWRP mode. I searched the thread but I didn't come with a similar question. Thanks!

In TWRP, you can use adb. adb push should work. You can copy ROM and other staffs to SD card instead. TWRP can see the content of SD card.

This ROM was somewhat stable with some flaws.. Isn't there anyone out there who could pick up on this and maybe at least could add the provided fixes to this ROM and maybe some recent security fixes?
As this one is more stable and seems to run more smoothly than the 16.0 (which is apparently dead), some work on the 12.1 would be really great.

Heya guys, I've downgraded from los16.0 to 14.0 I now seem to have video issues. I know that this ROM had these fixed is there something I might be doing wrong?

I've wiped the 16.0 Version installed the 12.1 Version and I want to install Netflix but the apk that I found that is “compatible” with the android 5.1.1. Says wrong password when I try to log in. The password is 100% correct at I qadruple checked it
