Video not working on some apps

My video on some education app (Lego Education WeDo2.0) doesn't working, may i know any way to fix this problem?

This ROM plus the Headphone and Video fixes have really breathed new life into a Tablet that was already reaching its end of life. Thanks to everyone involved.

But no release since almost a year and camera is still not working. Additionally, I have problems with playback. When I set the volume at more than 60%, audio streams are always stopping and I have to resume them a thousand times.

With the Headphone and Video fixes is there anything left still not really working anymore with this? Is the camera fixed? I only skimmed through the thread, but the latest reply says Camera isn't working? :(

The attached OMX-patch and headphone-fix zips are to be flashed in recovery by TWRP.

OMX-patch fixes the no video (black box) problem when using Youtube , Netflix etc.

The headphone-fix fixes the no audio output in earphone jack.

If you installed Vanced Youtube app prior to flashing this OMX patch, you need to uninstall and re-install Vanced Youtube. Video play back should now work.

Unfortunately still no new build. I think @ggow gave up this device as he's currently working on ROMs for other devices.

I tried that already. Still doesn't work. It also happen to Fire HD 8 with lineage 14.1. Same problem. Should be something missing that need to be added but i do not know what to do.

However, it worked fine when i downgrade to lineage 12.1.

Thanks @sol-invictus, you're right, I have not abandoned this device, had some much needed down time due to juggling life's other commitments. Have been working on HDX devices to start with, just updated Fire 7 (austin and ford). I have started to piece together an upstreamed suez kernel too but it will take me a while.

Anybody have issues with Google continuously crashing? Keeping me from being able to cast screen to chromecast I think

    Project is definitely not dead. There is a lot of activity from various people since I have been absent. Hope everyone has had a good Christmas and wish everyone a great new year.

    Things should start settling down for me in the new year, hopefully by the end of the first quarter.

    Not had a chance to do anything as yet. Busy with work, high stress and need to focus on that for the moment. When that passes then I can start to do more again.

    Interviewing for another job this week and away on business next week.
