Problem solved !!!

Try BitGapps Version 10 and not Opengapps.
Make an factory in LOS from TWRP and than flash BitGapps. Wipe cache and dalvik than reboot to system.

thank you sooo muchhhh, my problem was solved thanks to you !
I can finally enjoy my device without hiccups/freezes.
it looks like there is a problem with opengapps because I tried many version and even old release with no success.

LTE variant if you are facing bootloop into recovery try using BitGapps (search for it on xda)

@Linux4, thanks for the ROM! I just got the tablet less than a week ago (active development was my main reason to choose this model, and of course price), but I didn't realize at the time that we couldn't yet flash larger GApps packages. I read your changelog and I've been keeping my eye on that 11/xx update to fix that! And I'm happy to say that your 11/08/2020 build was able to flash Open GApps 10-31-2020 "Stock" with no problems (btw, I went with the older 10/31 GApps package so I can Magisk install YouTube Vanced ;)).

I have the WiFi model, so unfortunately I can't help with any of the LTE testing you seem to need. But anyway, just wanted to say thanks. So far (which admittedly is only a few minutes, lol) everything has been smooth running. Thanks man!

LTE version here, the october version tilt isn't swapped
the november build pen tilt is now wrong
edit: the app is Squid
edit2: It's on all apps, any idea on how to revert manually?

It isn't wrong, it was wrong before ...
Wifi and lte model both share the same firmware and kernel driver for spen so it shouldn't behave differently on lte variant.

What if the Wifi and LTE versions use a different digitizer SKU or mount it differently? Just a thought. It would explain how Samsung missed the bug in official firmware.

What apps other than Squid have you tried? Infinite Painter and Stylusis work properly on my Tab S6 Lite WiFi with the November build, but have the tilt bug on older ones and the official firmware.

Krita, stock launcher, etc
So you know the cursor dot shows when your pen is near, the latest version feels a bit weird, like the line go where it shouldn't go. It's especially bad on the right edges of the screen (when you're right handed) and the left edges if you're left handed, you just can't do any precise work there (if you hold your pen exactly 90 degree straight it's not a problem, but who writes like that)

Oh yeah, I see that now. The weird thing is that tilt itself is correct now (tilt works in all angles, i.e. tilting the default pencil in Infinite Painter works no matter which direction your stroke is, it's not reversed) and the tilt angle looks correct in Stylusis, but the tilt offset compensation seems like it might be broken since the cursor gets pushed farther and farther away the closer you get to the sides. Maybe tilt compensation is backwards in the driver too and needs to be fixed to match now-working tilt.

Hey guys

Have you tried it now, yes the point is shifted at the edges by a few pixels (does anyone know if it was in the stock also so) and disturbs it so much, for that accurately draw?

Have also tested Squid, since my handwriting is put back everywhere very well, 0.5 cm at each edge I could not describe, but this was due to the gesture control.

I'm looking at how Linux4 fixed the tilt and noticing there was already code path to handle the x y swap that is either incorrectly enabled or unused. I'm going to try reverting the fix and inverting the existing code path to see if it keeps the fixed tilt and improves the cursor offset. If it works I'll shoot off a pull request. This is my first time compiling an Android kernel so hopefully that's not too hard to do.

EDIT: I'm not seeing anything in the driver about tilt offset. Also the change that was put in to fix x and y tilt being swapped actually makes the driver here match versions of this same file from other projects, so it looks like it is indeed correct now. The offset is bothersome though, but I don't know how bad it is on official firmware.

Broke my Pixel C Tablet changing the battery . I been living with the Pixel C Tab and my Nexus 6 phone running LineageOS for years just looking for some feedback on what might be the best tablet to get with solid LineageOS support going forward.
Any suggestion's ?
Ok.....
Nobody can say this exactly how long the support will last, it will be developed in the free time

I have installed the Nov 8th update but i'm having an issue with BT. Audio works great on the tabs speakers but when using BT it glitches a lot. It sounds like a CD when someone bumps the table, it skips the music not matter what app i use (spotify, youtube, youtube vanced, music, simple music player, NewPipe), more so when i'm trying to use the tab for other tasks and the music is in the background playing. I saw your instructions on how to grab a log file but i'm unsure on how to do that. I am currently on the sm-p610 tab. Other than that I think LOS runs amazingly well and I thank you for taking your time to do this. I'm looking forward to upgrading to LOS 18. Any help you may be able to provide will be greatly appreciated.

Yes to wiping (was coming from stock, did not need a backup)
yes to rebooting

no task killers
still "stock" LOS 17.1 no other kernel
no other mods

Will test it again.

    Reporting Bugs
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
    • If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

Installed Lineage and it was booting, but had some problems with installing Gapps.
After 3 attempts succeeded with installing Open Gapps pico from sd-card.
In the first 2 attempts, TWRP gave error "failed to mount '/system_root"
I found this: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/pull/2496 , probably due to dynamic partitions.

Wifi, Bluetooth, pen are working, but gps is not working.

Yes, TWRP's support for dynamic partitions is still not fully finished.
Gps is working for me, but it takes a very long time initializing, that should be fixed with the next update (I'm currently working on including Samsung's september secpatch update on which gps seems to work faster)
    2
I have uploaded an updated version with september vendor security patch which should also fix the gps issues
