So, this room never will work with signal? Just for testing?

You should say that at the start of the post, anyway thank you for sharing this with all the viewers, and thanks to everyone who can develop something out of this!! :p.
I didn't post the Rom. I offered to help several times but no reply from the op. I'm now off on some other side projects I've been trying to complete.

When I try this, the button to lock was weird, after lock the device ( when the screen turn on again ) it was showing different colors.. idnw.

If you go to your display settings and turn off live display - - >reduce power consumption the color issue disappears.

Stuck at setup

Stuck at "Just a sec" after following everything exactly. Wiped everything and tried rebooting again and nothing. Any suggestions? The screen will also periodically dim out and come back on.

Mine takes ~15 minutes the first boot to do anything. Just let it sit?

Did you figure out what was going on or did you just guess this was the issue?

This is unfortunately caused by your panel supplier
For confirmation..
Can you run the command in twrp via adb shell and post the output?

cat /sys/devices/virtual/graphics/fb0/panel_supplier

Working better for me. But as these are testing calibur builds it is a lot of trial and error to figure out what gonna work for everyone.

You reported intermittent Data right?

I had users on g7 power variant report that erasing modemst1
modemst2
in fastboot solved this problem.

I reported zero data over cellular.

I think that the way you took my comment was totally wrong, I tried digging into the error logs I could find to figure out why. I was assuming you found the logs and what may be the fix. I just wanted to know where I missed it.

And yes, I know this is testing, hence unofficial.

I am just on the g7, no variant.

It would be helpful to post a logcat to del.dog when reporting errors such as these. Many variables such as location and carrier which may cause data connectivity to fail under certain conditions..
Otherwise I can only fix the bugs as I find them in my logcat.

I understand. That's why I sent you a pm, that's why I was asking for a little guide or support in compiling from your sources... etc.

Made an account just to say thank you. I installed this on my retail (US) G7 operating under T-Mobile. So far everything works fine, besides needing to tweak the color profile. This is buttery smooth compared to the stock Motorola ROM, boots up insanely quick, and just feels nice. My only problem is trying to get Netflix installed. If I find anything wrong with the ROM itself I will post here.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm happy to share that I've discovered a solution for livedisplay color issue which will be in next update.
Netflix I think depends on a particular build.prop flag in roms for HD
ro.netflix.bsp_rev=Q660-13149-1
you probably have to install from a apk mirror website

On my previous note, Bluetooth audio doesn't seem to work - the devices pair fine but no audio can be heard. (headphones and car stereo)

    About:
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9 (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Introduction:
This is the unofficial Lineage OS thread for the Motorola G7, codename river.

We support all the T-Mobile, International, and Project Fi variants, as their bootloaders are unlockable, while we can't support the Verizon and AT&T variants, as their bootloaders are permanently locked.

    Irrelevant reply, mostly due to error in OP thread;

In the first paragraph of the About it says this LineageOS is for Android Oreo (8.0) while at the bottom it is claimed for Android Pie (9.0)

Will be installing soon for better feedback, but just thought you'd like to be aware of that.

Also, would this include the Security Patch of the most recent official release or is that something not to concern myself over with LineageOS releases?

Gotta love xda thanks for letting me know that xda reverted all my corrections to the main post over night.

So it's android 9.0 built with latest sources
